Chapter 16: The Arrival of Sovereigns
Occasionally, a streak of Divine Radiance would sweep across the sky as top-tier powerhouses from the Legendary Realm made their entrance. As these words echoed among the Sovereigns, their gazes fell upon the Great Zhou Martial Emperor and the Sovereign of Flowing Cloud Sect.
The Great Zhou Martial Emperor pondered for a moment, exuding immense pressure as he slowly spoke: "Among the Three Great Empires of Humanity, with Tang Dynasty's Wind Nation in decline, our Great Zhou is poised to unify humanity and lead them to become kings among all races."
The Sovereign of Divine Talisman Sect, Qiu Zhan, scoffed: "Though Tang's Imperial Aura is depleted, a dying camel is still larger than a horse; it won't be so easy to extinguish them. The Wind Nation still possesses deep roots despite their Wind Emperor's death. It may not be so simple for Great Zhou to unify humanity."
"Success depends on human effort," replied the Great Zhou Martial Emperor succinctly before adding, "Human determination prevails."
"Interesting," remarked Danxing Dao, Master of Laojun Pavilion, narrowing his eyes. "Why is Cold Commander standing with Second Demon General yet so far from Great Zhou Martial Emperor? Quite intriguing."
Upon hearing this, the Great Zhou Martial Emperor looked at Cold Rain with slight anger: "Yuer, why aren’t you coming over?"
"Yes," Cold Rain replied coldly as she approached Martial Emperor's side.
"There’s movement."
Someone spoke up, and everyone turned their attention toward Blazing Fire and Magma. The swirling red flames surged forth with a sound reminiscent of a Tide crashing violently. This noise was deafening and reverberated through the ground.
"The gate to Master's Secret Realm is about to open."
A powerful Loose Cultivator was anxious and rushed into the Blazing Fire Magma first. With a splash, his figure was engulfed by the Blazing Fire Magma.
"Qiu Shan Dao Ren. His cultivation is impressive," someone recognized him.
Qiu Shan Dao Ren was the strongest among the Loose Cultivators and represented them. His strength was formidable, comparable to that of some sect Sovereigns. However, unlike sect Sovereigns, Loose Cultivators could not draw upon the resources of a sect.

"Dao Friend Qiu Shan, I will offer two Ninth-Grade Treasures for your Fire Source Ancient Jade," spoke Danxing Dao, the Master of Laojun Pavilion, which also practiced fire attribute Vital Energy and greatly coveted this item.
Upon hearing this, Fire Vein expressed displeasure: "Dao Friend Dan, what do you mean? I was the first to propose exchanging this treasure with Dao Friend Qiu Shan."

The cultivators of Master Realm could follow behind the powerful practitioners of Legendary Realm. Lin Feng also blended in, staying at the back of the group.
Lin Feng thought to himself, "Second Senior Brother must have learned about the opening of Master's Secret Realm. He has always admired Shishu greatly. It makes no sense for him not to come. Could something have happened in Divine Ruins?"
