“Lin Kedu, you are despicable.” He gritted his teeth as he cursed her, his eyes filled with disgust. 0

Lin Kedu got up and sat cross-legged on the ground, brushing off the dust from her clothes. Nonchalantly, she replied, “You fall in love with someone else while I still love you; that is my own choice. You kill me for the one you love, and I have nothing to say. But to kill me for the one you love while I still willingly love you—indeed, I am despicable.” 0

She glanced sideways and smiled, a hint of bitterness mixed with a carefree attitude in her expression. “If you want to find Yuling, you might as well try your luck in the Underworld.” 0

Her pale self-deprecating laughter echoed in the empty space, making Bei Heng feel increasingly suffocated inside. 0

After obtaining the answer he sought, Bei Heng flicked his sleeves and rode away on a cloud, his garments tracing an arc in the air. 0

Only then did Lin Kedu collapse onto the ground like a puppet that had lost its strings. Did this Third Emperor really think that his status could allow him to summon someone from the Underworld? 0

If he had thought for just a moment, he would have realized she was deceiving him. After all her efforts, how could she truly be malicious enough to harm Yuling again? 0

The King of Hell sat in the eerie grand hall, his expression unchanged as he said, “Yuling’s fate has run its course; she has long entered reincarnation.” 0

“Yuling was harmed by someone; her lifespan is not yet over. How could she fall into reincarnation?” Bei Heng shouted loudly, his voice echoing through the Underworld, filled with urgency and anger. 0

“Harmed by whom, Lin Kedu?” The King of Hell countered, a hint of meaning in his gaze. “Third Emperor, you must still be in the dark.” 0

Seeing his confusion, the King continued, “Yuling has always been fated for a short life; each generation shorter than the last. If it weren’t for Lin Kedu protecting her all these years, do you think you would still be able to see her?” 0

“Lin Kedu would gladly kill her; how could she truly save her?” Bei Heng frowned, disbelief etched across his face. 0

"No matter how many years have passed, you have never truly understood Lin Kedu." 0

The King of Hell downed the wine in his cup with a mocking expression. "She deceived you; deep down, you know it, but you refuse to think further. Lin Kedu has long since repaid her debt to Yuling over these five hundred years. Instead, it is you, the wise Third Emperor, who owes Lin Kedu a debt that can never be repaid." 0

"What do I owe Lin Kedu?" 0

Bei Heng felt an inexplicable panic rise within him as fragmented images flashed rapidly through his mind. He unconsciously furrowed his brow, a hint of confusion flickering in his eyes. 0

"You only see the mistakes she made five hundred years ago, yet you fail to look deeper. You cursed her to never be reborn because of Yuling's death and discarded her body in the wilderness, exterminating her entire clan." 0

"Slap." 0

The jade fan fell to the ground as Bei Heng's hand trembled slightly. "You're talking nonsense." 0

"I didn't want to say much, but I couldn't bear to watch that foolish girl shoulder everything alone. Third Emperor, do you think Lin Kedu has sought you out for the past five hundred years for no reason?" 0

In the flickering ghostly lights around them, the King of Hell's expression turned eerily serious. "She came to kill you herself." 0

Suddenly, all the images in Bei Heng's mind connected, culminating in the scene where he plunged his sword into Lin Kedu's heart. 0

This was… the whole truth! 0

Lin Kedu had deceived him once again. Yet knowing everything made his heart ache unbearably. Lin Kedu wanted to start anew with him and didn’t wish for him to know the truth. But he had insisted on opening the Half-Life Mirror. Was this right or wrong? 0

Boom! At that moment, the entire Underworld shook violently before quickly returning to calm. The Heavenly Slave waiting outside rushed in and bowed, saying, "Third Emperor, it's bad news! Lin Kedu has activated the Heaven and Earth Disk." 0

Bei Heng was taken aback, his expression changing dramatically. He swiftly took to the clouds and vanished from the skies above the Underworld. 0

The Heavenly Slave left behind could only see the King of the Underworld laughing and saying, "Indeed, this is typical of Lin Kedu." 0

The laughter echoed sharply and lingered in the main hall. 0

The Heavenly Slave lowered his head in contemplation, realizing that the Underworld King was reveling in misfortune. 0

The Heaven and Earth Disk was a cornerstone of the Three Realms; just one rotation could overturn history. If Lin Kedu's mere movement caused such a stir, even the Heavenly Emperor was alarmed. It seemed that disaster was imminent. 0

In the eerie darkness of the Underworld, the King did not seem surprised by the sudden visit from the Heavenly Third Prince. He remained motionless, his expression as stiff as a corpse. "Third Emperor, I presume you have come here to demand someone?" 0

"Since you already know, please release them." Bei Heng's irritation was evident; his usual composure had vanished, replaced by a furrowed brow and a hint of urgency in his gaze. 0

"Third Emperor, this Underworld is not yours to command," the King of the Underworld paused before continuing. 0
