Dandelion's Viper 5: Who is that man

As I drove the red Polo to pick up Liu Yan, I couldn't help but ask her the questions that lingered in my mind. 0

Liu Yan smiled, a hint of bitterness hidden within her expression. "Don't think too much about it. I never fight without preparation. I had it all planned out. When I found that pile of dismembered bodies at the foot of my bed, I knew I was caught in a trap, and only I could unravel it. I studied medicine in college, specializing in Psychiatry. I know how to act so that everyone thinks I'm insane. And I knew you would be my doctor; I've been aware of you for a long time. Leaving a car here was part of my plan, just waiting for today." 0

She turned slightly to gaze out the window, her eyes reflecting a mix of memories and determination, as if recounting an untold story from her past. 0

I found it hard to believe what she said. "So, you’re saying you fell into a trap? Does that mean you didn’t kill that woman?" 0

My eyes widened in shock as I looked at her, nearly losing control of the steering wheel as the car swayed slightly. 0

Liu Yan shot me a fierce glare, her eyes piercing through me as she exclaimed, "Of course not! Why would I kill a woman I don't even know? I'm not cold-blooded!" Her hands clenched tightly together, her body trembling slightly with anger. 0

"Then why don’t you tell the police? Let them investigate!" My voice rose involuntarily with anxiety and confusion. 0

"What good would that do? All the evidence points to me as the killer; even jumping into the Yellow River wouldn't clear my name. And I know who the real murderer is, but he has a solid alibi. So it's up to me to handle everything." 0

Liu Yan's expression was resolute; she bit her lip tightly, her facial muscles tense, and her eyes burned with a determination that seemed ready to face death. 0

"You know who the murderer is?" I pressed eagerly, my gaze fixed on her, determined not to miss any flicker of emotion on her face. 0

"It's the man who keeps me. Hmph! He left his mark on that woman's corpse! When he reaches climax during sex, he likes to bite women's shoulders. Does he think erasing fingerprints will keep suspicion off him? He's mistaken!" A fierce look crossed Liu Yan's face, her eyes ablaze with anger. 0

Suddenly, she pulled down her shirt to reveal a crescent-shaped bite mark on her shoulder. The mark stood out starkly against her fair skin, like a badge of shame. 0

I thought for a moment and asked her, "Why did you boil that woman's body in the pot?" 0

Liu Yan's face was filled with a strange, excited expression. Her eyes widened slightly, revealing a hint of madness. "I had to dispose of the body. I didn't want anyone to know that I had such a thing here. I saw a post online about how to handle a corpse—boil it until it's mushy, then cut it into pieces and throw them down the drain. But before I could finish, the pieces started to smell, attracting security and the police. It's my fault for forgetting to put the body in the fridge; that fridge was just too small..." 0

As she spoke, she shook her head slightly, as if regretting her mistake, but the excitement on her face was chilling. 0

I steadied myself and asked her one last question: "Who was that man?" 0

My voice trembled slightly, filled with both fear and curiosity, unsure of what shocking answer she would give. 0

Liu Yan's expression instantly darkened. A flicker of pain and despair crossed her eyes as her lips quivered. "He... he... he is..." 0
