With various complex thoughts in mind, everyone followed the Emperor out of the palace and made their way toward General Ling's residence in a grand procession. Xin Yao brought a stool for Yun Qingyu, who sat calmly in the courtyard waiting for the raid.
As various items were brought out from the Ling Family's premises, those present realized they did not constitute any incriminating evidence and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Ling Ancheng thought he had hidden everything very well and mused inwardly: That secret vault is quite secure; let's see how Yun Qingyu will explain things if he fails to find anything.

She glanced at the Ling Family, who were all performing their duties as subjects with expressions of loyalty mixed with just the right amount of anger and restraint, looking as if they had suffered a great injustice.
Seeing this scene, the Emperor couldn't help but give Yun Qingyu a thumbs up in his heart, though he worked hard to maintain his imperial authority on the surface. "Qingyu, what is going on? How did this raid end up at General Ling's residence? This is outrageous!"
Ling Ancheng quickly spoke up, "Your Highness suddenly arrived, claiming to have ironclad evidence of my corruption but presented no proof while barging into my home. I have been loyal; heaven and earth can bear witness. I ask Your Majesty to take charge!"
Prime Minister Lu seized the opportunity to undermine Yun Qingyu. "Even the personal belongings of women from the inner courtyard have been found here. We implore Your Majesty to see clearly."
Yun Qingyu raised an eyebrow slightly and replied, "There is no need for everyone to be anxious. As she spoke, she signaled Xin Yao discreetly that it was time to bring out the items from the secret vault.
Everyone followed Yun Qingyu's gaze and saw the Imperial Guards carrying heavy redwood boxes. The sight of those familiar boxes made Ling Ancheng's face turn pale; his heart sank as he thought: This is impossible! How could they have opened the Ling Family's secret vault? Where did they get the key?
The ministers stared in astonishment as the Imperial Guards continuously carried out box after box, each neatly filled with gleaming Golden Ingots, dozens of boxes in total.
