As soon as I walked in, a person who looked exactly like the Death Apostle approached Li Zhisheng. The only difference was that he wasn't holding a cane. I closely observed them, thinking, "If this Death Apostle is real, then when I have Li Zhisheng impersonate me, the Death Apostle will quickly discern that it's not really me from the details of my movements. But if this is a fake, then the one in the villa must be the real one..." 0

The thought made me increasingly anxious because if the one in the exhibition hall was a fake, Li Zhisheng could be in serious danger... 0

At that moment, someone sat down across from me. He wore a black cap and a white mask that blocked my view. I impatiently shifted to the side. 0

To my surprise, as soon as I moved, the person across from me shifted as well, blocking my view once more. My frustration boiled over, and I glared at him, saying, "What do you want?!" 0

Just as I finished speaking, he removed his mask with one hand. "The one in the exhibition hall is a fake..." Upon hearing this, I was taken aback; the person before me was indeed the Death Apostle. 0

"You..." I pointed at him, about to speak when he raised a hand to stop me and made a shushing gesture. He glanced around and discreetly handed me something from under the table. 0

I took it and quickly glanced at it; it was a white envelope. I hurriedly tucked it away and pretended not to know him while continuing to eat my noodles. With my other hand, I pulled out my phone under the table and sent Li Zhisheng a text message: "Confirmed, hurry back!" 0

After sending the message, when I looked up again, that person had already vanished without a trace. Meanwhile, Li Zhisheng was being led away by the fake Death Apostle, who had his arm draped over Li Zhisheng's shoulder. 0

In his hand was a glinting dagger. I cursed under my breath; it seemed Li Zhisheng was trapped now. 0

"What could happen if they went into the back room is truly unpredictable..." Just as I was feeling anxious, suddenly a figure darted past the entrance of the exhibition hall at high speed. Almost simultaneously, that figure threw a stone at the fake Death Apostle and quickly disappeared into the crowd. The stone struck precisely on the back of the hand holding the knife. 0

The fake Death Apostle winced in pain as the dagger fell to the ground. Li Zhisheng seemed to hear the metallic clatter and turned just in time to see the dagger rolling away. 0

Fortunately, he reacted quickly; he forcefully pushed away the fake Death Apostle and bolted toward the exit. The fake Death Apostle stumbled backward several steps before regaining his balance, but by then, Li Zhisheng had already dashed out of the exhibition hall and into the crowd. 0

Seeing this, the fake Death Apostle didn't pursue him further; he just stood there stomping his feet in frustration. Once outside, Li Zhisheng spotted me sitting in a noodle shop. 0

He signaled me with his eyes to follow him. Understanding his cue, I casually tossed some cash onto the table and called out, "Check please!" before getting up to follow him. 0

I followed closely behind him, winding through three or four streets until he finally felt safe enough to stop. I stepped forward and asked, "So? What did that fake Death Apostle say to you?" 0

Li Zhisheng was panting heavily. "I... I tell you, that Death Apostle is not only fake, but... it's not human!" Hearing this, I was taken aback. "What do you mean by that?" 0

He glanced around nervously, afraid that the fake Death Apostle might come after us again. I reassured him, "We're in the street, and it's Baymax. Even if it were some kind of monster, it wouldn't dare act so recklessly. Just tell me what happened." 0

After hearing my words, Li Zhisheng seemed to relax a bit. He swallowed hard and continued, "The moment I saw the Death Apostle, I felt something was off. Later, I noticed that this Death Apostle was covered in maggots. Although its face looked normal, the smell coming from it was like that of a corpse that had been dead for days..." 0

"Then why did you follow it inside?" I interjected. Li Zhisheng looked just as confused. He scratched his head and said, "I don't know why; I just felt like when I looked into its eyes, my body didn't obey me. It wasn't until the knife fell to the ground that I snapped back to reality..." 0

I nodded in understanding. "It seems someone is secretly helping us. This person is likely the real Death Apostle. I've underestimated this situation and put you in danger..." With that, I lowered my head in shame. 0

Li Zhisheng patted me on the shoulder. "It's fine; I'm okay." Then he seemed to remember something else. "By the way, how did you know that Death Apostle was fake?" 0

Hearing his question, I lowered my voice and leaned closer to him. "I... might have encountered the real one." With that, I pulled out the white envelope from my pocket to show him. 0

He glanced around at the crowd before grabbing my hand and pressing it back down firmly. "Now's not the time to look at that." 0

"The most dangerous place is also the safest place..." With that, I pushed his hand away and took out the envelope. 0

I opened the letter inside; there was only a single sheet of paper with a line written in black ink: "Two hours later, meet me at the villa." 0

After reading it, I glanced at Li Zhisheng. "See? If we wait too long to look at this, it might be too late." However, Li Zhisheng frowned deeply and pondered for a moment. "Aren't you afraid this could be another trap?" 0

"What do you think we should do?" I asked in confusion. Li Zhisheng thought for a while and replied, "Look at this sentence; he wrote a comma but didn't add a period. That means this sentence isn't finished. There must be more meaning hidden within..." 0

As he said this, I also found it strange. Just then, I noticed a subtle detail: there were slight creases before and after the words "meet" and "villa." 0

I examined it closely, and it seemed that Li Zhisheng had also noticed this detail. He snatched it away and began to manipulate the folded paper. After a while, he handed me the folded letter, saying, "Look! Just as I suspected..." 0

I took the letter and looked at it. The earlier phrase had transformed into: "After two o'clock, do not meet me." The fold marks perfectly concealed the characters for "do" and "villa." 0

"Two o'clock?" I read it aloud, unable to comprehend. Li Zhisheng replied, "Here, 'two o'clock' might not refer to the actual time but rather an ancient way of telling time, like noon or the hour of the monkey. He probably meant after two." 0

After hearing this, I still felt somewhat confused and said, "I don't even know where he is now; how can I meet him?" Upon hearing this, Li Zhisheng pulled the envelope from my hand again, revealing the characters for "do" and "villa" once more. 0

He didn't say anything but pointed at those two characters with his finger. I furrowed my brow and silently repeated to myself, "Villa..." Suddenly, it dawned on me. Seeing my realization, Li Zhisheng gestured for me to hold on. 0

I nodded and said, "In that case, we can't just wait around, can we?" Li Zhisheng shrugged his shoulders with a look of helplessness. 0

I took out my phone to check the time; it was almost two o'clock. If we went now, we would definitely be late, so we had no choice but to wait until later to make further plans. 0
