Seeing the text message, I thought to myself, "Perhaps it's because Li Zhisheng doesn't know about my conversation with Yao Long. If he is indeed pretending or possessed, he wouldn't know these details so clearly. Even if he were possessed and aware of Yao Long's past, such genuine emotions cannot be faked." 0

With this in mind, I relayed the content of my earlier conversation with Yao Long and his demeanor to Li Zhisheng, allowing him to analyze whether we should still suspect Yao Long. 0

Since there was a lot to cover, it took me nearly twenty minutes to type everything into my phone. During this time, Li Zhisheng grew somewhat impatient and sent several text messages asking if I had any issues or if something was wrong. I didn't reply to those messages but instead sent him the edited information. 0

After sending it, I sat on the edge of the bed, picked up the cigarette I had tossed onto the nightstand, and lit it. I thought, "How can I understand their movements? If I just let them know that the book they stole is a fake, they surely won't believe it easily. How can I make them believe?" 0

Just then, my phone vibrated unexpectedly, displaying a text message from Li Zhisheng. I picked it up and saw that he had written: "If that's the case, we can basically rule out Yao Long as a suspect. We can confirm there's only one insider. However, we must remain vigilant. By the way, have you thought about our next plan?" 0

I replied, "I'm also troubled about what to do next. First, we need to let them know that the book they have isn't real. Secondly, we need to figure out why they want to steal these things and what their next plan is; otherwise, all our efforts will be meaningless." After typing this out, I pressed send and continued waiting for Li Zhisheng's response. 0

Moments later, my phone vibrated again. This time it was Li Zhisheng: "Actually, you don't need to overthink the problem. Often the simplest methods are the most effective. We could stage another act to make this fake Hu Fang believe that our book is the real one. If she takes it back to report, we would achieve two things: first, getting her out of the way would reduce the danger from Death Apostle; second, we could follow her and find Yang Master's exact location while looking for clues." 0

After reading this, I thought, "Is he underestimating Yang Master's people? Perhaps they've already anticipated that we might track them." With that in mind, I typed back on my phone: "Li Zhisheng, are you viewing Yang Master too simply? Maybe they've set a trap for us already. Also, do you think Hu Fang would believe us so easily?" 0

This time, Li Zhisheng replied quickly; just moments after my text was sent, he responded: "Some things aren't as complicated as you think. Put yourself in their shoes—if you were facing an opponent like yourself, how would you guard against them?" 0

Seeing this made me realize that sometimes the simplest strategies are indeed the most effective. With this revelation, I replied: "I think I understand now; you're saying they wouldn't see us as simple opponents and wouldn't expect such a low-level strategy from us?" 0

Li Zhisheng responded: "Exactly. Sometimes it's necessary to complicate matters; other times it's better to simplify them. You're good at analyzing complex problems but struggle with straightforward ones. Anyway, it's getting late; tomorrow use that book wisely. Get some rest; goodnight." 0

After reading his message, I wished Li Zhisheng goodnight as well and set my phone aside before lying down to sleep. 0

As dawn broke the next day, I crawled out of bed at the first light of morning. Sitting on the edge of my bed, I rubbed my sleepy eyes and glanced at the old book resting on my nightstand. I thought to myself, "From that fake Hu Fang's behavior, she doesn't seem too clever; it should be easy to deceive her." With that thought in mind, I lit a cigarette to wake myself up and headed out with the old book in hand. 0

Upon entering the living room, I found Yao Long, who had not slept a wink all night, still sitting beside the Death Apostle, silently keeping watch over him. "You didn't sleep at all last night?!" I exclaimed. 0

Seeing that I was the only one there, Yao Long smiled slightly. "I was a bit worried and didn't dare to sleep." Upon hearing this, I understood that he knew the Death Apostle was still alive and was concerned about another potential attack on him, which is why he couldn't rest. 0

With a frown on my face, I said to Yao Long, "Now that I'm awake, you can relax. Let's switch shifts." After I finished speaking, Yao Long hesitated for a moment. However, due to yesterday's battle and his exhaustion from staying up all night, he didn’t argue further and leaned against the nearby sofa, ready to sleep. 0

Noticing this, I quickly helped him up. "Don't sleep here; go sleep in my room instead." Yao Long looked a bit embarrassed but eventually complied with my insistence and went to my room to rest. 0

After Yao Long went to sleep, I sat alone beside the Death Apostle and placed the incomplete Divine Anomalies Classic on the tea table. Looking at the Death Apostle's chest, which showed no signs of rising or falling, I poked my finger gently in front of his nose. 0

The Death Apostle was breathing, but it was very faint; if one didn't concentrate on feeling it, they might not notice at all. "What exactly did Gu Kai do to make the Death Apostle like this..." I found myself fearing Gu Kai's power. 0

Lost in thought, Hu Fang's door suddenly opened. She stepped out of her room while fiddling with her face. "Up so early?" she greeted me. 0

I replied nonchalantly, "Ah, good morning." 0

Seeing me sitting next to the Death Apostle, she approached him as if it were routine and began examining him closely. Observing her serious expression made me wonder, "The Death Apostle has lost his powers; what could possibly compel them to kill him? The Divine Anomalies Classic? That can't be right; they already have it. Is there something else hidden within the Death Apostle?" 0

Just as I was pondering this, Hu Fang suddenly noticed the book on the table. Pointing at it with curiosity, she asked, "What's this?" 0

Feigning indifference, I replied casually, "Oh this? Didn't you see it when we were having dinner with Li Zhisheng? It's the Divine Anomalies Classic. The counterfeit that the Death Apostle gave me was stolen. Luckily, the real one was with Li Zhisheng. He went out last night just to get this." 0
Hu Fang stared at the Divine Anomalies Classic, her eyes flickering with an unusual expression. I glanced at her, turned my body away, and a subtle smile crept onto my lips. 0
