"What do you want?!" I exclaimed. 0

"Don't worry, we just need to temporarily control the power he's releasing. We won't hurt him," the man said, rushing to Yao Long's side before anyone else could react. He grabbed Yao Long's trembling shoulders and shouted, "Hurry!" 0

At his command, several others stepped forward, some grabbing his arms and others his legs, trying to restrain Yao Long. 0

Unexpectedly, Yao Long let out a roar. His body shook violently, throwing off everyone who was holding him, sending them sprawling to the ground. Only the man who had spoken to me managed to keep his grip on Yao Long's shoulders. 0

Seeing the situation deteriorate, he quickly freed one hand and pulled out a yellow-brown talisman from his pocket. He pressed it onto Yao Long's back and began chanting incantations. 0

As he spoke, Yao Long gradually calmed down, and his body slowly stopped shaking. 0

After a moment, once the man finished his incantation and the talisman had burned away, he finally released his hold on Yao Long's shoulders and said to me, "It's fine now. We just need to wait for him to fully recover." He then helped the fallen individuals back up and scolded them, "I told you to practice properly; now you see what happens..." 0

His demeanor suggested he was their senior brother or something similar, and his tone was quite stern. 0

"Is Yao Long really okay?" Death Apostle asked nervously from the side. 0

"Yes, he's fine..." the man replied. "By the way, Master, you all will be staying here tonight. This room only has three beds, which isn't enough for everyone. Let me arrange another room for you. Who wants to come with me?" 0

Thinking it over, I realized that Death Apostle had no combat ability and Yao Long was still unstable; they definitely needed protection. Li Zhisheng seemed to have recovered enough by now, so if he stayed with Hu Fang, it should be fine. With this in mind, I said to everyone, "Yao Long and Death Apostle can stay in this room while I take care of them. Hu Fang, you and Li Zhisheng go with him." 0

Upon hearing this, Hu Fang glanced at me with reluctance but understood that it was the most suitable arrangement given the current situation. Otherwise, Death Apostle might come back in the middle of the night to check on Yao Long. 0

"Alright then," Hu Fang replied reluctantly. 0

"You all follow me," the man said as he saw we had made our decision. He led Hu Fang and Li Zhisheng out of the room. I stood at the door watching as they entered the hall and turned into another room only ten steps away from where we were before I turned back to check on Yao Long's condition. 0

Yao Long sat on the bed, shaking his head repeatedly. Perhaps it was the earlier surge of power that had left him somewhat disoriented, and he was now trying hard to regain his senses. 0

"Mr. Death, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." Yao Long said to the Death Apostle beside him. 0

"It's alright, I understand," the Death Apostle replied, inquiring about Yao Long's condition. At that moment, Yao Long's awareness was still a bit muddled, but the chaotic power within him had stabilized. 0

Just as the Death Apostle finished asking about Yao Long, the man from earlier returned to the room and informed us that dinner was ready, inviting us to eat together. 0

Having not eaten anything since morning, we naturally accepted without hesitation. Soon, everyone gathered in the front hall to have a meal. 0

Although the food wasn't particularly delicious, it was certainly edible. While eating, I counted and realized there were at least twenty members of the Slayers present. Strangely enough, I hadn't seen Mo Shu Old Senior at all during dinner; I wondered what he was up to. 0

Afterward, with nothing much to do, we sat by the bed and chatted with Yao Long. Despite the chaotic power within him, he felt unusually relaxed; perhaps it was due to the influence of the Azure Spirit. 0

Hearing him mention the Azure Spirit piqued my curiosity because since entering the room, we hadn't seen any sign of it. We searched every corner of the room but found nothing. 0

"That's odd. Could it be that the Slayers are hiding Yao Long's weapon?" I pondered aloud while sitting in front of the bed. 0

"I don't think that's likely. Think about it—if they really wanted your weapons, they could have taken them right away instead of going through all this trouble. They might just be keeping them safe for Yao Long until that old senior arrives," the Death Apostle suggested. He seemed much more relaxed than before; perhaps he felt relieved seeing Yao Long safe and sound. 0

We continued chatting about various topics. I also took a quick look at Hu Fang and their room; everything seemed normal there, which put me slightly at ease. 0

Time passed without our notice. Being in the mountains meant we couldn't see outside, and with all electronic devices rendered useless, we had no way of knowing whether it was day or night. I began to feel increasingly fatigued. 0

Yawning, I returned to my spot on the bed and said to Yao Long and the Death Apostle, "I don't know what time it is, but we should get some rest soon—especially you, Yao Long. I know you usually sleep little, but you really need to rest in your current state." 0

Yao Long replied, "I really can't sleep right now. Have you forgotten how long I've already been awake?" He then lifted his head and stared blankly at the Flower Board. 0

At that moment, I heard a dull bell ringing from one of the rooms below. The sound was not loud, but it was very clear, echoing throughout the castle in the mountains. 0

"Look, the bell is ringing. It must be those who kill the way reminding us it's time to sleep. If you’re not going to sleep, then I will," I said, feeling exhausted from moving those bags of Jujube. I lay down and closed my eyes. 0

Yao Long, unaware that I had given Jujube to Mo Shu Old Senior, muttered in confusion, "Jujube? Why are you moving Jujube?" 0

I ignored him and drifted off to sleep. Beside me, the Death Apostle seemed to have succumbed to fatigue as well and had already fallen into a deep slumber. Suddenly, the surroundings fell into a dead silence. 0

I don't know how long I slept, but in my dreams, I vaguely heard a series of faint knocking sounds. The noise came and went, sometimes strong and sometimes weak. 0

Out of curiosity, I slowly woke up from my slumber. At that moment, I realized that the candlelight in the room had extinguished at some point, and everything around me had turned pitch black. In the darkness where I couldn't see my own hand in front of me, the ethereal knocking sounds continued to echo, sending chills down my spine. 0

"Death Apostle, Yao Long, are you awake?" I whispered. But in the darkness, apart from my own voice and breathing, I could hear nothing else… 0
