"Is this your tunnel? It looks quite ordinary, just a regular tunnel," Li Zhisheng said from the back seat of the car.
Hearing this, I gradually slowed down the vehicle while continuing to drive forward. "I think it seems ordinary too, but since it has such a strange reputation, there must be something unusual about it. Everyone take out your phones and keep an eye on the time. Let's go in and check out this so-called 'Time Tunnel.'"
As I spoke, the vehicle slowly entered the tunnel. Yao Long beside me was intently watching the time on his phone, and everyone remained silent, staying alert.

No sooner had he finished speaking than a dog suddenly darted out from in front of the car. Reacting quickly, I slammed on the brakes, causing Li Zhisheng and the others in the back seat to crash against the front seat's backrest with a series of thuds.
"Damn dog..." I cursed as I reached for my seatbelt to unbuckle it, but suddenly a strange feeling washed over me. It was as if I had experienced this moment before; an overwhelming sense of familiarity surged through me.
I paused my hand from unbuckling the seatbelt and stared blankly at the dog that was slowly moving away from us, lost in thought.
Suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder. Startled, I turned around to see Li Zhisheng rubbing his forehead and asking me, "What's wrong? Did you get scared?" He stretched his neck to look ahead and saw the dog that had blocked our path slowly leaving.
He seemed momentarily stunned as well, perhaps thinking of the same thing I was.
"Wait, didn't we just...?" Li Zhisheng appeared hesitant to finish his thought.
At that moment, Hu Fang climbed up from under her seat and complained, "What’s going on? Didn't we already enter the tunnel? Why are we back here again?"
Hu Fang's words suddenly reminded me of everything that had happened earlier. Yes, not long ago we had gone through this exact scene; now we were experiencing it again. Could this really be a problem caused by the tunnel?
Thinking about it, Yao Long raised his phone in front of me and said, "It seems so; even the time on my phone has gone back an hour."
"How could this happen? Isn't it only the time on our phones that would go back? Why did both us and the car go back an hour?!" I found myself utterly confused.
As I struggled to understand, Li Zhisheng suddenly exclaimed in surprise, "Shen Xu, come look! The Death Apostle seems a bit off!"
I turned around to see Death Apostle sitting motionless in the back seat. His body seemed completely unaffected; he maintained an upright posture with his eyes fixed straight ahead.
Looking at the dazed Death Apostle, I felt as if the air around us had solidified.
"Hey! Death Apostle?! What's wrong with you?" Hu Fang desperately shook Death Apostle, but he was as unyielding as a rock, showing no reaction no matter how much Hu Fang pushed him, only swaying back and forth.
"Stop pushing, it's useless. Can't you see he isn't even breathing?" Li Zhisheng said from the side.
"No breathing?!" I exclaimed, extending my fingers to check Death Apostle's breath.
Sure enough, Death Apostle was completely still, his breathing absent and his heartbeat stopped, as if his time had been frozen at the moment just before the reversal.
Now, not just me, but even Yao Long was panicking. He hurriedly got out of the car and rushed to the back door, yanking it open in an attempt to pull Death Apostle out for a closer look.
But just as Yao Long grabbed Death Apostle's arm, Li Zhisheng intervened and said, "Yao Long, don't get too worked up. Death Apostle might not be dead; his time could just be frozen."
"Frozen..." I muttered to myself as I slowly opened the door and stepped out of the car.
Standing by the vehicle, I looked around. The surroundings were eerily silent; apart from our voices, there was not a single sound to be heard.
Even though it was Baymax, this deathly silence made me feel quite uneasy.
"Yao Long, Hu Fang, you stay here and watch over Death Apostle. Li Zhisheng, come with me; let's check the area nearby."
Upon hearing this, Li Zhisheng got out of the car and walked with me toward the roadside buildings that had ethnic designs.
We chose one of them and approached it, knocking on the door while calling out, "Is anyone there?"
After a while with no response, we tried several other houses in succession. Not a single person came out to answer us.
"It seems like what we're facing is more than just a simple time reversal. That tunnel must have some issues..." Li Zhisheng pondered while standing by the door.
"I know there's a problem too, but where exactly is it? Why can we all move while Death Apostle is stuck..." As I spoke, a sudden realization struck me. "Wait a minute! I think I know!"
"What did you figure out?"
"Void Spirit!" I replied. "Look, Yao Long, Hu Fang, and I all have Void Spirit within us. And you have Soul Burial. In other words, we each have at least two souls inside us. Although your Soul Burial is merely a power and not an actual soul, it should still play some role in preventing you from being frozen."
Feeling somewhat anxious, I realized my explanation was a bit jumbled and wondered if Li Zhisheng understood what I meant.
