"Is this really the Underworld Gate?" I exclaimed, pushing the door in front of me open. 0

In that instant, an oval halo appeared before my eyes, resembling the Underworld Gate. However, this door seemed a bit strange; the black-purple glow flickered as if it were unstable. 0

At that moment, Hu Fang and Yao Long arrived behind me, peering into the doorway. Upon seeing the black-purple Underworld Gate, Hu Fang gasped, "It's real! We can finally get out! Come on, let's go in!" She excitedly patted my shoulder, seemingly urging me to enter first. 0

"Wait a minute, this Underworld Gate seems a bit unusual. If we rush in..." I said, raising my guard and staring intently at the flickering Underworld Gate inside the room, yet my feet remained planted outside. 0

"No matter what, the Underworld Gate is right here; we have to give it a try," Li Zhisheng said, placing a hand on my shoulder and gently pushing me toward the door. 0

Feeling Li Zhisheng's push, I froze for a moment and instinctively took a step back. 0

I was about to refuse and suggest we figure things out first when Yao Long stepped in front of me and said, "How about this? I'll go check it out first; you guys can follow after." 0

With that, he took a step toward the door. I grabbed Yao Long's arm, trying to stop him. "Don't rush! Even though this door looks like the Underworld Gate, we can't be sure it actually is..." 0

"What if Mr. Death is in trouble?! He's just sitting there like a wooden doll in the car. If we delay any longer, he might not be able to return to normal!" Yao Long shouted anxiously while forcefully shaking off my hand. 0

"Then let me go! Yao Long, you guys keep an eye on me from behind. If there's any danger, pull me out immediately!" I said, pushing Yao Long aside and preparing to enter the flickering black-purple doorway alone. 0

But just as I brushed past Yao Long, I caught a glimpse of his lips curling up slightly before his anxious expression returned. 0

Something was off; there was definitely something suspicious here... The more normal it seemed, the more abnormal it was; the more abnormal it seemed, the more normal it was... 0

Just as I thought this, one foot had already crossed into the doorway when suddenly a powerful suction pulled me in relentlessly toward the shimmering Underworld Gate. 0

"This is bad!" I shouted as I tried to escape. However, due to the immense force emanating from the Underworld Gate, I couldn't break free. I could only grip the doorframe tightly with one hand while stretching my other hand desperately toward Yao Long and Li Zhisheng. 0

At that moment, Yao Long, Li Zhisheng, and Hu Fang did not grasp my outstretched hand. Instead, they stood outside the door with gloomy faces, watching as I was slowly drawn in. A strange smile crept onto their lips in unison. 0

"So that's how it is! The truly normal ones are you!" I shouted, but it was too late. The powerful suction behind me had already lifted my feet off the ground, leaving only one hand desperately gripping the doorframe. But this was merely a futile struggle... 0

As I felt my hand gradually loosening, my entire body was about to be pulled into the Underworld Gate. I was filled with anxiety, yet utterly helpless. 0

Looking back, there was no sign of the Underworld Gate; instead, there was a massive mouth formed from piled-up corpses. Jagged bones jutted out like spikes within that gaping maw, and the immense suction emanated from that monstrous mouth. 0

"Why didn't I notice sooner! The loss of Yao Long's sensing ability and that dog lunging at Hu Fang and Li Zhisheng!" Regret surged within me, but it was too late; I could only watch helplessly as I was drawn in. 0

As the suction intensified, my grip on the doorframe finally gave way... 0

"This is it..." A chill ran through me as I looked at the three people before me who wore those eerie smiles. I knew my time was short... 0

Just as I prepared to close my eyes and await death, I suddenly felt something bite down on my outstretched arm. A sharp pain shot through me. 0

Opening my eyes, I saw that yellow-brown dog clamped tightly onto my arm. Then, with a sudden shake of its head, a powerful force yanked me out from the doorway and slammed me into the three figures outside, knocking them to the ground. 0

As I landed atop them and turned to look, these were not Hu Fang and Li Zhisheng; they were merely three desiccated corpses. Their faces were sunken, and their eye sockets were empty. 0

Seeing this, I quickly scrambled to my feet and cautiously surveyed my surroundings. The dog that had saved me stood nearby, panting with its tongue out and wagging its tail. Its mouth was stained with blood from where it had bitten me. 0

"Thank you so much for saving my life," I said as I reached out to pat the Yellow Dog on the head. It barked happily and licked my hand repeatedly. 0

Looking at this gentle dog before me, I found it hard to imagine how it possessed such strength to pull me away from that overwhelming suction. Could it be that this dog harbored some unseen power within? 0

As I pondered this, a dull ache throbbed at the bite mark on my right hand, forcing me to retract it. 0

I pressed my injured right hand against my body and straightened up to look around, muttering to myself, "If these people are fake, then where did the real Hu Fang and Li Zhisheng go?" 0

Suddenly, I noticed that the surface of the surrounding walls began to peel away like paper, revealing a wall that resembled flesh and blood. 0

Realizing the gravity of the situation, I knew this was not the time for such thoughts; I had to quickly return to the car and find Jiang Ling. With that in mind, I hurriedly ran back to where we had parked, my loyal dog following closely behind. 0

Moments later, I reached the car. Inside, there was no sign of the Death Apostle; the cabin was empty except for our luggage. 0

"What is going on?! Am I really the only one who entered this world from the beginning?" I thought, but I couldn't dwell on it any longer. I yanked my backpack out of the car and rummaged through it until I found Jiang Ling, gripping it tightly in my hand before tossing the backpack back into the cabin. 0

At that moment, looking around again, the once white tunnel walls had turned a deep crimson. The lights on the ceiling were continuously falling from above. 0

Not only that, but even the concrete floor began to change; many areas collapsed, revealing patches that looked like pools filled with a bubbling crimson liquid, as if boiling blood… 0
