At the entrance of a desolate, abandoned warehouse, two armed men paced back and forth, scanning their surroundings with vigilance. Behind them, within the warehouse, the sound of a woman's flirtatious laughter mingled with a man's furious curses. 0

The laughter came from a small room nestled in the space. As they drew closer, the enticing gasps and the man's deep groans became increasingly tantalizing. 0

The angry man was driven to frustration by the alluring sounds that made him feel unbearably hot. "Is Alpaca or Ghost Brother here?" he exclaimed, exasperated. 0

Indeed, there was a man named Alpaca. One of the men at the entrance turned around in annoyance upon hearing the commotion and retorted, "Are you calling for spring?" 0

Just then, someone hurriedly approached from a nearby path. The two men at the door exchanged glances of excitement; Ghost Brother had finally arrived. 0

However, their joy lasted only two minutes. When the figure from the path came into view, both men instinctively pulled their triggers and simultaneously shouted at Visitor, "Are you human or ghost?" 0

The newcomer ignored the armed men’s inquiries and strode directly toward the entrance. 0

Without hesitation, one of them fired a shot, the bullet slicing through the air with a sharp sound aimed straight at Visitor. 0

To their surprise, Visitor did not appear to be the undead they had imagined but rather a human. With a swift movement, he dodged and increased his speed, darting forward like a projectile. This unexpected action startled the two men at the door. 0

In theory, encountering a human in the dead of night wasn’t unusual since there were residents nearby. However, if someone were to run at such speed in darkness, caution was warranted. So far, no human had been able to dodge bullets while moving at such incredible speed. 0

Of course, aside from creatures that had escaped from laboratories—lacking fear and charging forward—there seemed to be no other beings capable of advancing through a hail of bullets as if it were nothing. 0

Both men screamed in unison, "Oh my God!" hastily stowing their weapons and retreating into the doorway. With a loud clang, they slammed the door shut. Now, unless Gui Ye came knocking, no one would be allowed inside. 0

Their unusual reaction and the noise of the door closing startled the couple engaged in passionate play inside the small room. They lost interest immediately and peered anxiously toward the entrance… 0

"Are those windows closed?" the woman exclaimed, clinging tightly to the man beside her, too afraid to check for herself. 0

"They were never opened, what’s there to be afraid of?" The man who had just been with her replied, still feeling the thrill of the moment. One hand was teasing her beneath her clothing while the other gripped a gun, aiming its dark muzzle at the door. If anything stirred outside, he would be ready to act. 0

Bang! Bang! The forceful impacts sent vibrations through the air, stirring up a cloud of long-settled dust. What kind of monster is at the door? The man with the gun glared in anger. 0

"San Ge, should we charge out..." One of the two men who had retreated from the door attempted to sound calm as he glanced at the shaking door. He paused, seemingly caught on something lodged in his throat, then swallowed hard before continuing, "Should we take him down without leaving a trace?" 0

As soon as he finished speaking, the vibrations at the door suddenly ceased. Whatever was outside seemed to understand what was being said inside. 0

The silence was unbearable as they exchanged glances. Finally, someone broke the oppressive atmosphere and spoke up, "Where did Gui Ye go?" It was San Ge who spoke, shoving aside the dramatic woman next to him. He stood up abruptly, his gaze sharpening as he resolutely approached the door. Leaning against it, he cautiously tested for any movement outside. 0

It was indeed quiet at the door—so quiet that they could clearly hear the wind rustling through the wild grass outside. San Ge's actions drew everyone's attention; they hoped he would go out to check but feared what terrifying Bloodthirsty Creature might appear once he opened the door. 0

"Open up, it's Gui Ye!" 0

A rough voice called from outside startled San Ge, making him tremble and instinctively step back a few paces before daring to ask, "Is that you, Ghost Brother?" 0

"Yes, it's Ghost Brother! Can't you recognize his voice?" Someone chimed in eagerly, adopting a false bravado. The earlier cowardice had vanished as they stepped forward to open the door. 0

With a creak, the door swung open to reveal Gui Ye—though something seemed off about him. As he fully entered and came into view of those inside, they noticed another figure looming behind him... 0

This person bore a fierce expression, especially with eyes that held a predatory glint only found in wolves. His long fingernails dug deep into Gui Ye's carotid artery; everyone present understood that if he pressed even slightly deeper, it would lead to a horrifying spectacle. 0

Gui Ye was acutely aware of this fact. In the midst of his torment, when he was being held captive, he sensed the murderous intent emanating from his captor. He also understood that his captor was neither human nor a mutated creature, but a mutant. 0

"Don't be afraid, he's here to find someone," Gui Ye croaked, trembling as he spoke. He turned to the person holding him and added, "You see, I'm not lying. There really isn't anyone here that you're looking for." 0

The brute who had seized Gui Ye quickly scanned the room with a fierce expression. Yet, he showed no sign of releasing his grip on his prey. Furrowing his brow, he declared loudly, "I'm looking for a friend from the future. If you see a young man with injuries and an impressive appearance, let me know. Otherwise, I will kill all of you." 0

Wasn't he just one person? Did he think he was some kind of Bloodthirsty Creature? Beside him, San Ge blinked his small eyes, glancing at the stranger holding Gui Ye. He was secretly plotting to show off in front of his brothers and seize back the power he had lost. 0

Feigning indifference, he slowly raised his hand— 0

In a flash like lightning, before anyone could comprehend what was happening, a spray of blood erupted from San Ge's neck. 0

"Ahhh..." A woman screamed and fainted on the spot. 0

The men were paralyzed with fear, too terrified to act. They thought Gui Ye had been killed but were shocked to see him standing unharmed while San Ge's legs twitched uncontrollably. 0

San Ge's neck had been sliced open by the captor's razor-sharp nails, blood gushing forth until he collapsed lifelessly! 0
