“Pah!” Xiao Qiang spat. “What crime cannot be fabricated?” As he spoke, he secretly exerted himself but felt his entire body go limp. He glanced at Choke and asked, “Can what I say be used as evidence? You won't be biased?”
Professor R nodded; this was exactly what he wanted to hear. The name Xiao Qiang sounded familiar, and his appearance resembled someone else. With this alone, he wanted to protect this mysterious child while also figuring out the situation regarding his arm's coding.
“Speak boldly.”
Choke noticed Professor R's displeasure but dared not refute him.
“Plum Blossom Rain is the evil Serpent Woman; she attacked me first. As for Mihir's death, it has nothing to do with me.”
Xiao Qiang's words sparked a small commotion below, as the crowd murmured in mild astonishment.
Professor R cast a disdainful glance at Choke and said coldly, "Is this the result you wanted?"
Choke wiped the sweat from his brow. "He's talking nonsense, lying..." He then turned to the others, arguing passionately, "Everyone think carefully, Plum Blossom Rain is an employee of Kabo Corporation. How could he possibly harm others?
