Han Ming followed the route map provided by Xiao Qiang to find the original site of r's laboratory. After driving about twenty miles, he came across a vast expanse of desolate sand dunes. 0

This was a natural, organically formed sand pit, filled with red willows. Surrounding the sand pit were several broken rock layers, and another thirty miles beyond it lay a wetland. 0

The wetland was a stark contrast to the barren sand pit. One area was bare and lifeless, while the other was a vibrant green world, filled with grass and flowers. A gentle stream flowed through this sea of grass, winding its way past scattered trees in the wetland, meandering far into the distance. 0

As Han Ming traversed the wetland, his eyes suddenly brightened. He had passed through this area long ago when it was still under construction. Now, it had transformed into a bustling zone, with traffic flowing and various new buildings rising from the ground. 0

This place could be described as a city within a city, located on the hillside diagonally across from the urban area. Amidst the rolling hills, a solitary white building stood halfway up the slope, surrounded by trees and accessible via a winding path. Even in late autumn, during this season of colorful falling leaves, the area remained lush and green, with the building hidden within this sea of greenery. 0

Professor R certainly knew how to choose a location. This place was tranquil and beautiful, reminiscent of the scenery in the Fra National Furi Mountains. Judging by the thick layer of fallen leaves on the steps, as Xiao Qiang had mentioned, it had long been abandoned and turned into a deserted experimental base. 0

As Han Ming arrived here, he noticed several suspicious heads peeking out from behind trees now and then. He grasped the handgun given to him by Fang Shanshan for protection and walked straight in with Nair. 0

In an empty space, there was always an inexplicable sense of eeriness. Cobwebs hung in the corners, swaying gently with the wind. On one of these webs was a dark object that appeared to be an insect caught in it, struggling desperately; each struggle only made the web quiver slightly. 0

The long-abandoned house gave off a sense of neglect and dirtiness. The once pristine white walls were now dotted with small stains likely caused by moisture. 0

This was Han Ming's first close-up observation of a country's primitive framework-style house. It seemed that Professor R, feeling insecure about those high-tech buildings, chose such a location to construct an experimental base. 0

The house was divided into many small rooms, and he selectively entered one near the main door. Inside was a chaotic mess, filled with some decaying items that emitted a strange odor wafting through the air. 0

Han Ming sniffed and continued to search for the entrance to the second room with Nair. This room was quite interesting; it seemed much larger than the previous one they had seen. There was a platform, not very big, with a strange post on it. The post had a threaded opening, and there seemed to be something else on top of it. 0

He looked around but didn't see anything particularly valuable or meaningful. At the bottom of the post was an empty space covered in a layer of white dust. Their footprints were clearly visible in the dust from when they had just entered. 0

Han Ming and Nair exited this room and walked into the third one. As soon as they stepped inside, a pungent smell of sulfur mixed with other indistinguishable odors hit them, making him feel nauseous. 0

Covering his mouth and nose, he pressed on and saw rows of counters with various vessels of uneven sizes. Some of the vessels contained thick, yellow-brown liquid that had already solidified at the openings. 0

Han Ming picked up a smaller vessel, which was a miniature type, and found it also contained the thick yellow-brown liquid. He took it to a well-lit area to examine it closely. 0

As he turned the vessel over and scrutinized it, he suddenly exclaimed, "Oh my God!" At that moment, he accidentally dropped the vessel, shattering it on the ground. A round eyeball rolled out as the thick liquid splattered everywhere. 0

Was this a human organ laboratory? The thought flashed through Han Ming's mind, sending a chill down his spine. He shuddered and hurriedly exited the room with Nair. 0

As they stepped outside, a cold wind hit them, tightening their bodies once again. Instinctively wrapping his coat tighter around himself, Han Ming said to Nair, "Let's head down the mountain." 0

Nair remained silent, following quietly behind him. 0

After walking a few steps, Han Ming felt uneasy and turned back to mutter to himself, "I refuse to believe this; let's look for more." 0

This time he directly entered the room with the post again and purposefully approached it to examine it closely. Upon closer inspection, he realized that this was no ordinary post; it was one that could rotate 180 degrees. 0

"Hey! I found it!" Han Ming exclaimed joyfully, turning to Nair and saying, "It really is true what Xiao Qiang said about the Reincarnation Device being installed on this post." 0

Nair looked at Han Ming and said, "Hey! Congratulations." 0

Han Ming nodded, needing to quiet his mind and carefully ponder the principles behind this device. 0

The device rotated, and Professor R utilized its rotational speed to create an artificial black hole, entering the orbital track—feeling quite pleased with his analysis, he continued to think: it should involve speed, timing, and the right conditions; there must also be a stopwatch recording data like the date and time. He gestured towards the original setup; this area should be the viewing platform, and Xiao Qiang was likely the first test subject of Professor R's Reincarnation Device. 0

Everything seemed to click into place. Han Ming dashed outside, retrieved tools from the vehicle, and began repairing and designing the Reincarnation Device. 0

Nair stood by as his ever-present assistant. 0

Unbeknownst to Han Ming, who was busy indoors, the sky outside gradually darkened. It wasn't until a final ray of sunlight disappeared on the horizon that he sensed nightfall approaching. 0

This place had no accommodations aside from electricity. Clearly, it was not suitable for staying overnight; he needed to hurry down the mountain with Nair to find a place to stay and eat in the city. 0

The descent was treacherous. The vehicle wound along the twisting mountain road, making him anxious. Even during daylight, he had observed that one side of the road dropped off into a sheer cliff while the other plunged into an abyss—one misstep could lead to a fatal fall. 0

Han Ming's driving skills were competent, and with a well-functioning intelligent system in the vehicle, they made it down safely. The car glided smoothly onto the streets. 0

Looking out of the window, he saw a small city adorned with twinkling lights. Although the night was not as luxurious or noisy as in larger cities, it still exuded a sense of warmth. Under the orange glow of streetlights, people strolled in small groups along the streets. Laughter echoed from nearby bars. 0

As Han Ming approached one such bar, he felt someone following him from behind. After glancing back multiple times, he noticed that the person tailing him did not attempt to hide but instead approached with an air of mystery. "Hey, buddy, are you looking for this?" 0
