The numbness in Shasha's left arm greatly affected her movements, and the slight pain tugging at her inevitably disrupted her sense of balance. Yet, despite this, she still managed to hold her ground in the ensuing battle. 0

A master of cold weapons remained a master even with a severed arm; attempting to win through speed was merely a web of illusion. 0

The defensive circle created by her sword made it difficult for Peter to advance. Beneath the flickering sword light, he would inevitably bear a scar or two, but these injuries were not significant to him. 0

How long had it been? This guy had grown to such an extent? He had been someone she could easily dominate before. 0

Shasha couldn't help but marvel at the astonishing potential of the Marvel characters, and she no longer suppressed her own strength. 0

Vibrations began to tremble through the air, and a powerful vibration was already attached to Edman Longsword. If her next strike hit Peter, it would be far more than just leaving a wound! 0

Sensing something, Peter accelerated again, attempting to evade Shasha's onslaught. He moved like a leaping spider, darting up and down with incredible speed, becoming almost an indistinguishable blur. 0

However, even though Shasha's eyes couldn't see clearly, her perception and neural reflexes were enough to respond to Peter's speed. 0

Buzz! 0

A sweeping strike came forth, hitting Peter squarely in the chest with the back of the sword. He was sent flying backward, blood gushing from his mask. Just as he was about to hit the ground, his pupils constricted sharply as the sword light flashed again. 0

Swish! 0

The power of the vibrating sword tore through the wild grass and earth, carving out a deep trench. 0

Peter lay on the ground, breathing heavily. He had barely managed to twist his body to avoid what could have been a serious injury with immense effort but still suffered from the residual shockwaves. 0

Shasha walked slowly up to him and looked down, her sword tip aimed at his throat. "I won," she said softly. 0

Peter coughed twice and chuckled lightly. "Indeed, you won. But I achieved my goal as well." 0

Shasha paused at his words and then turned to look at where Peter had thrown Kurt Connors earlier. Where was the Lizard Doctor now? Her face turned pale as she realized there was no trace of him left. She felt an urge to stab down with her sword but restrained herself, fearing the consequences on time and threats from S.H.I.E.L.D. She withdrew her sword and stood tall. "Do you know how many innocent lives will be sacrificed because you let him go? To uphold your ideals while letting those innocents pay the price—this is your justice?" 0

With that, she turned away without waiting for Peter's response. For the first time, she found that so-called rigid justice was more detestable than evil itself; such compassion was only worthy of people like him! 0

Shasha left, but her words plunged Peter into deep thought. Having never experienced the death of an uncle, he still held onto that ordinary person's conscience within him, believing that even bad people had the right to live. Yet he had never considered the consequences of letting bad people go free; this was what happened when an ordinary person suddenly gained power yet failed to correct their perspective. 0

Once, Shasha was the same, but when someone threatened the life of his friend, he no longer held back. 0

No matter how Peter thought about it, Shasha knew that capturing the Lizard Doctor this time would be difficult. That guy would certainly not stick around after running away. Rubbing his fractured left shoulder blade, a bitter smile appeared on his face; this time, it truly was a case of losing more than he gained. 0

However, he couldn't leave empty-handed. At least he had gained a clearer understanding of the growth potential of Marvel Heroes, which put pressure on him. 0

Now, his Reputation had reached 4500 points, leaving just 500 points until he could exchange for an ability upgrade scroll. 0

Upgrading the Quake Fruit ability was imperative. Moreover, if he could acquire some powerful close-combat techniques, that would be even better. 0

Shasha aimed at the main quest and realized that he couldn't use the King of Hell's sword while utilizing his second identity. 0

In New York, Queens, at Morgan Bar. 0

Back in New York, Tock had already reclaimed most of his territory, though it was certainly not due to his own abilities. 0

When Tock saw Frank, he was surprised. He never expected that the seemingly incapacitated Frank could still recover and had been sent by Shasha to assist him in building an underground kingdom. 0

Looking at the silent Frank beside him, who was drinking quietly, Tock felt a surge of emotions. 0

"This is already the eighteenth time you've looked at me like that," Frank said flatly. "Is my recovery really that curious to you?" 0

"If you remember your situation in prison, you'd understand why I still find it unbelievable," Tock shrugged. "It's really hard to imagine what bss did to help you recover." 0

Frank remained noncommittal; he had asked Shasha about that method once and had never found any other possibility since. 0

"Alright, now is not the time to discuss that. Do you know why bss called us here?" 0

Tock spread his hands. "How would I know? bss rarely contacts me." 0

Just then, a tall figure appeared at the bar entrance. A heavy and suffocating presence followed, causing many to shift aside. Wearing sunglasses that concealed his captivating eyes, the man couldn't hide the proud smirk on his lips. His golden hair resembled a lion's mane, and the beige trench coat did little to disguise the muscles beneath; though not exaggerated, they were explosively impressive. 0

He was someone unforgettable and certainly not someone whose appearance or aura could be underestimated. 0

Upon seeing the visitor, Tock and Frank stood up and slowly walked to his side, respectfully greeting him as "bss." 0

Inside the private room, Shasha lounged with his arms crossed behind his head, eyes closed in relaxation. His arrogant posture did not evoke any discomfort; rather, it seemed to be exactly how he should present himself. 0

After a while, Tock and Frank waited patiently for him to speak, showing no signs of impatience. 0

Eventually, Shasha slowly opened his mouth. "Have you heard of Jin Bing?" 0

While Frank remained contemplative, Tock's pupils involuntarily contracted. "Bss, he is the current underground emperor of America. This guy controls the entire underground lifeline of the country; his power is immense." 0

"That's right," Shasha nodded, showing no caution despite the other's influence. Instead, he spoke with a hint of amusement. "What if we were to replace him and become the underground emperor of America?" 0

At that moment, Frank, who had been silent until now, suddenly revealed a glint in his eyes that drew attention. 0
