In the Middle East, this place has long been notorious for its concentration of terrorists. 0

Tasked with eliminating the terrorist leader, Natasha had been lurking here for seven days. To complete her assassination mission without alarming anyone, she spent most of her time plotting. 0

The city had already been reduced to ruins by war, yet many still lived here, homeless and aware that it was under the control of terrorists. Many of their relatives were even members of these groups. 0

In such an environment, gathering intelligence was incredibly difficult for Natasha. Therefore, it was worth mentioning that she had brought Shasha along with Anna, the Rakshasi she had trained herself. 0

Natasha couldn't help but admire Shasha's insight. Initially, when she looked at the exceptionally frail Anna, she thought to herself how could such a girl possibly become a professional spy? No amount of training could change that, could it? 0

However, once training commenced, Anna's growth and understanding became evident; her progress was rapid. 0

Natasha recognized her as the most promising agent of this generation. She had originally wanted to recruit her into S.H.I.E.L.D., but considering her prior agreement with Shasha, she had to abandon that idea. 0

Later, when Anna demonstrated her abilities, Natasha finally understood why Shasha entrusted this girl to her. 0

The ability to absorb information was one thing; the most important aspect was memory. 0

This girl was a born spy, a natural agent in the making. If Nick knew about her, he would likely invest wholeheartedly in her development. 0

Bringing Anna to the Middle East had proven beneficial; thanks to her abilities, they gathered a wealth of useful intelligence. Otherwise, Natasha would have needed much longer to complete the mission. 0

Looking at the unusually quiet girl before her, Natasha noticed that Anna often stared out the window as if trying to see something beyond it. 0

"After we complete this mission, we’ll return to New York." 0

Upon hearing Natasha's words, Anna turned to look at her with a glimmer of anticipation in her eyes. "When we go back, can I see him?" 0

Natasha raised an eyebrow in curiosity and asked, "Why do you want to see him so much?" 0

Anna slowly lowered her head and murmured, "Because only he can bring me a sense of warmth." 0

Natasha was taken aback. What did warmth mean? Physical? Emotional? Or perhaps both? 0

She hadn’t expected this girl to have a taste for younger companions! 0

As if uncovering a significant secret, a playful smile spread across Natasha's face. 0

Soon, she reined in her smile as the target appeared. 0

New York, John F. Kennedy International Airport. 0

After nearly half a month away, she was finally back here. 0

Even when not in New York, Shasha was aware of recent events. Although her information was not complete, she could still gather some major news, such as the Mjolnir from Alaska and the thawed Captain America. 0

Of course, there was also the Green Goblin, who had recently had a showdown with Spider-Man. 0

The citizens of New York City were once again suffering. After all, this was a clash of titans; when these guys started fighting, they didn't care about collateral damage. What hero in this world could handle everything perfectly? 0

Can a hero be called a hero without sacrifice? 0

At least Shasha felt that the heroic title placed upon her was not accurate because she herself did not acknowledge it. 0

Returning to New York with Shasha was Luke, who had not forgotten Shasha's promise to him. 0

After settling Luke in, Shasha called Wanda Maximoff to check on her dog’s recent situation before hanging up. 0

Before going abroad, she had left Beck at Wanda Maximoff's home. 0

Back home, after a quick shower to restore her identity, Shasha headed straight to the S.H.I.E.L.D. office in New York. 0

She was greeted by Maria Hill, the commander of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s airborne aircraft carrier. 0

"You, the commander of an airborne aircraft carrier, are now the head of the New York office?" Shasha said with a puzzled look as she examined the expressionless Hill before her. 0

As one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s agents known for both beauty and intelligence, Hill had a somewhat stern personality that contrasted sharply with Natasha's. 0

Upon hearing Shasha's remark, she maintained a serious expression and replied coolly, "It's a work transfer." 0

Shasha nodded thoughtfully and then stated her purpose. "Is it convenient for you to let your director come out to talk?" 0

Hill frowned. "I'm afraid you'll have to wait for a while; he isn't here." 0

Shasha paused in surprise. "What do you mean?" 0

"Don't you know that even the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. has to carry out missions?" Hill asked, puzzled. 0

Shasha was taken aback and then felt quite embarrassed. "This is the first time I've heard of it." 0

Hill shrugged. "What do you need to discuss with me? I'm temporarily handling the daily affairs of S.H.I.E.L.D." 0

Shasha gave her a skeptical look. After all, Nick Fury was known for his unilateral decisions. If it wasn't something he personally promised, it was hard to feel reassured. Even if Hill could make decisions, what if that guy came back and denied everything? It would all be for nothing. 0

After some thought, he replied, "I think it's better if I talk to him directly. Just tell me where he is right now." 0

Hill's expression darkened at his words. Did this guy really not trust her ability to make decisions? How disrespectful. If it weren't for the fact that this guy was someone the Director specifically wanted to maintain relations with, she would have kicked him out long ago. 0

Suppressing her discomfort, she finally spat out a location. "Brazil." 0
