"A familiar face," a cold voice echoed from above, "Liquid Snake."
Shasha looked up to see Peter, clad in his spider suit, staring intently at her through his compound eye mask.
With a silent smile, she remarked, "A defeated foe dares to come knocking? Just you and that archer won't be enough."
"And what about us?" Several figures rushed in, among them the only familiar face was Natasha. The rest were agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., with one short-haired girl faintly resonating with Vibration's abilities.
Shasha frowned slightly. "It seems you S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are determined to oppose me."
"Liquid Snake," Natasha said coldly, "you are charged with murder and creating panic in public. S.H.I.E.L.D. will arrest you according to the law! Prepare to surrender; you cannot defeat us."
At her words, Shasha burst into laughter. "Can I? You'll only know if you try!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she transformed into a gust of wind and charged at one of the agents.
Bang!
The agent flew backward, unconscious in mid-air.
Before Natasha and the others could react, Shasha used her extraordinary speed to eliminate those agents who lacked combat prowess one by one.
Finally realizing what was happening, Natasha shouted sharply, as if it were a signal. Abilities, fists, and firearms were unleashed all at once.
Reacting swiftly, Shasha became an illusion, dodging close-range attacks while leaving behind afterimages that confused the armed agents. Without a single shot fired at her, she had already taken down over a dozen capable agents.
As Natasha watched her comrades dwindle in number, it was impossible for her not to feel anxious. She gritted her teeth, wondering where this bastard had come from, and how he could be so skilled.
Just as Shasha seemed to be gaining the upper hand, Peter, who had been silent until now, finally made his move.
With speed that rivaled Shasha's, a powerful punch struck Shasha, sending him flying backward with the force of several tons.
Seizing the opportunity, the agents opened fire, and from a distance, Barton unleashed three arrows in rapid succession.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The arrows struck Shasha, who had managed to evade even the bullets. Three sharp arrows pierced through him.
As Shasha landed, he staggered back two or three steps. He touched the wound that showed no blood, and the slight pain only made his smile colder.
With a swift motion, he pulled the three arrows from his body, and the wounds healed rapidly as if they had never existed. This sight made the agents gasp in shock.
"What the hell is this guy? Such severe penetrating wounds healed instantly?"
"Does that mean our attacks are ineffective against him?"
"What should we do? Should we keep attacking or not?"
Seeing the morale of her team beginning to waver, Natasha quickly shouted, "His abilities definitely can't be used frequently! As long as we keep attacking, his healing power will eventually fail."
The words calmed the agents' restlessness.
Ineffective? Shasha couldn't help but chuckle; he wanted to tell them that this ability was one he could use indefinitely, unless faced with a truly difficult-to-heal injury. Even a single cell could regenerate in his body.
However, it was pointless to explain; it was better to show them through action.
So this time, Shasha stood firm and faced them head-on, allowing his wounds to heal, break, heal again, and break once more, as if there were no end to it.
Forget the agents; even Peter felt a sense of despair. What could you do against someone who couldn't be killed?
"What are you looking at?" Peter, lost in thought, was sent flying by a powerful punch from Shasha.
As Peter adjusted his body mid-air, he suddenly felt a violent tremor in the space around him. His balance faltered, and he crashed down to the ground.
The short-haired girl among the agents looked on in shock. "This ability..."
"I've had enough!" Shasha raised his hands high, and a blinding white aura nearly rendered everyone present momentarily blind.
In the next instant, he slammed his hands down with tremendous force, producing a deafening boom.
In an instant, the ground shook violently; nearly everyone lost their footing and fell. This was beyond what balance could resolve; they had clearly underestimated Shasha's power.
As everyone gradually regained their senses, where could they find Shasha now?
This was the first time in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s history that so many agents had been subdued by a single individual, and it seemed that this guy still had plenty of strength left.
"Damn it!" Looking around at the injured colleagues lying on the ground, Natasha's face darkened. "I've remembered you, Liquid Snake!"
Once they cleaned up the aftermath and were about to search for the lurking Hawkeye, they found that he had already been knocked out for quite some time.
As Shasha left the area, a voice echoed in his ears.
"Main mission four: Lifelong Rival completed."
"Defeated 10 named heroes, progress (10/10)."
"Reward: Advanced Ability Extraction x1, Energy Points 000, rewards have been distributed."
Today, Shasha not only completed the mission but also intimidated S.H.I.E.L.D., ensuring they wouldn't come looking for trouble anytime soon. Moreover, he now had enough time to settle accounts with Magneto!
