The trajectory of this world follows the Marvel Movies, but there are some things that cannot be understood through the films.
For instance, before them, the Celestial Palace Three Warriors and Sif were surprisingly able to suppress the Destroyer in a short amount of time. Their weapons could pierce through cosmic alloys, and they could even wield some of the powers of the Asgardians.
Thus, what was originally expected to be a one-sided battle in Shasha's mind turned into a contest of equals.
The fine sword of Vandal, Sif's longsword, Vostagg's battle axe, and Hogan's staff, all enhanced by divine power, displayed tremendous might. The different lights emitted by their powers obscured even the Azure White Cloud.
Watching from a distance, Phil gasped as he witnessed the combat prowess of the Asgardians. He suddenly felt that Nick's plan might not come to fruition because there was no one in S.H.I.E.L.D. capable of suppressing them.
Beside Phil, Daisy wore a serious expression. At that moment, she finally understood what it meant that there were greater beings beyond humanity. Yet she was puzzled; these individuals seemed to possess abilities different from those of the person who had just saved her.
Indeed, she had been rescued; otherwise, how could the Destroyer have suddenly collapsed?
Meanwhile, her savior was gazing northward, for he had spotted a hammer.
Mjolnir!
At this moment, the Three Warriors and Sif were severely exhausted, while the seemingly limitless energy of the Destroyer was unrestrained. It could swing its heavy fists endlessly and unleash its destructive beams without limit.
As a result, the once-mighty Three Warriors and Sif quickly fell into a disadvantage as the situation took a sharp turn for the worse.
From a simple perspective, Thor's friends were taken down one by one. With a loud explosion under the destructive light, Sif, as the last line of defense, saw her shield melt into molten iron. She was thrown to the ground by the blast and fell unconscious.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Slow footsteps came to a halt in front of the figure embracing Thor. The armor faded away, and the light of destruction coalesced; in the next moment, both the figure and Thor would be completely vaporized, disappearing from this world.
Then, a sudden 'bang' echoed as a hammer pierced through the chest, tightly gripped in the hand of what seemed to be the lifeless Thor.
A storm descended, divine power returned, and pieces of armor assembled into a majestic and solemn Thunder God's Armor. The once-dead Thor re-emerged as the God of Thunder.
Shasha lowered his telescope; there was no need to watch any further. How could Thor, having regained his powers, possibly lose to the Destroyer? He only needed to wait for Thor to resolve the situation.
Yet, Shasha was mistaken again.
Mjolnir struck a massive hole through the Destroyer's chest. But soon, the wound began to heal, as if it had never been injured at all.
Seeing this, Thor's expression changed slightly. He had long known that being the guardian of Asgardians' Treasury was no simple task, but he never expected such a lethal blow would not suffice.
He crouched down slightly and then shot up like a rocket, soaring into the air. Mjolnir raised high, a storm of lightning descended as he spun the hammer continuously, absorbing the tempest and electricity into it.
Suddenly halting the rotation, he gripped the blazing hammer tightly. In the next moment, he hurled it with all his might!
This time it should be a sure hit, right? But the Destroyer's light of destruction suddenly gathered; the distorted air and the scorching heat surrounding it caused sand to vaporize rapidly.
In an instant, a super beam of destructive light shot forth, colliding violently with Mjolnir!
Boom!
The vibrations caused by the explosion felt like an earthquake, making it difficult for the spectators to maintain their footing.
At that moment, Shasha finally understood that one should not view the real world through the lens of movies.
In the comics, the Destroyer was created by Odin to fend off the Divine Assembly's attempts to annihilate Earth, so one could imagine its power.
However, without Odin's divine power backing it, its strength had significantly diminished, yet it was still more than enough to hold its own against Thor.
Seeing this, Shasha realized that if she didn't make her move now, it would be too late; this was the perfect opportunity.
Thor's hammer clashed with the Destroyer's iron fists, producing a symphony of ringing metal. Occasionally, if one wasn't careful, they would either be sent flying dozens of meters by a punch or nearly destroyed by a hammer strike before miraculously recovering.
Yet, the attentive Thor noticed that the Destroyer's healing had slowed down; this was due to a lack of energy.
After all, the Destroyer was not a perpetual motion machine; it couldn't sustain such high-intensity combat indefinitely.
But it was just that little bit of difference that prevented him from completely breaking through the Destroyer's defensive mechanisms.
The more anxious he became, the harder it was to secure victory. In a moment of distraction, Thor found himself slammed into the ground by the Destroyer’s powerful blow.
Just then, a beam of destructive light began to gather, aimed directly at Thor.
At that moment, a figure suddenly sprang up from the sand. With a pearlescent glow surrounding its right fist, it struck fiercely at the back of the Destroyer's head!
The Three Warriors and Sif watched in horror; in their eyes, although this newcomer meant well, they were somewhat overestimating their abilities. How could one fist possibly stop the Destroyer?
Although the girl’s earlier performance was impressive, it was not enough to move them.
However, in the next moment, their cheeks twitched in shock.
The Destroyer had not been repelled or moved an inch, yet its head was shattered!
Though it quickly healed, it was still a bare-handed feat.
Daisy looked astonished; she knew that her shockwave had been amplified by the special metal gloves she wore, and she was not afraid of backlash. That was how she managed to repel the Destroyer. But this sudden newcomer had shattered its head?
When the newcomer landed steadily, both Phil and Daisy wore expressions of realization mixed with gravity.
"It’s this guy!"
