Since mastering Virtual Shock, Shasha's offensive techniques have been unstoppable, shaking the very ground beneath her foes. Virtual Shock can disrupt space, affecting the vibrational frequencies of people and objects, creating collapsed spaces and shattering all non-material existence. Currently, Shasha's stage of Virtual Shock only allows her to influence space and create localized collapses.
Yet even this is sufficient; at least it is enough to deal with the four individuals before her.
Flame Star is still relatively inexperienced, Sunspot has yet to grasp the ultimate potential of solar energy, and Damon relies solely on manipulating hellish space. The remaining Tessa can only cause a bit of trouble but serves no other purpose.
Thus, after stunning Angelica with a sword strike that generated high-speed thermal energy through microwaves, Shasha swiftly turned and lunged at the seemingly defenseless Damon.
Clang!
Damon blocked Shasha's long sword, raising an eyebrow as he smirked. "You don't think I'll be caught off guard like last time, do you?"
As his words fell, he forcefully pushed Shasha back a step, then leaped back onto his feet. An orange-red flame erupted from his Golden Trident, cascading toward Shasha in an instant.
Whoosh!
The fierce flames surged forth, transforming into a roaring fire dragon, its intense sulfuric scent revealing its origin.
Seeing the flames follow him as he leaped into the air, Shasha raised her sword and slashed downwards, splitting the fire in two.
However, as she landed, Sunspot unleashed a barrage of solar energy that shot forth like bullets from an assault rifle.
Vibration clung to her sword as she held it with one hand, deflecting the solar energy at high speed while maintaining her grip. Just then, Damon's flames surged again; she thrust her sword forward in response!
Boom!
The two forces collided and dissipated into a thick mist. Suddenly, a beam of light pierced through the smoke and struck Shasha directly. She raised her sword to block it but was forced to slide back several steps.
As the thick fog dissipated, Damon appeared, brandishing the Golden Trident with a smug grin on his face. "Last time, I didn't even use one-tenth of my power. Now you finally get to see how formidable I am, right?"
Though she didn't say it aloud, Shasha secretly acknowledged that this guy seemed to have learned from his previous death and resurrection. He was no longer unprepared.
Damon had many tricks up his sleeve, but after using them a few times, they seemed to be just that—tricks. Whether it was spatial manipulation, Hellfire, or mysterious energy, none of them were strong enough to counter Shasha's Vibration.
Thus, these two underdeveloped individuals faced defeat once again.
This time, Shasha did not take their lives. If she wanted their abilities, she could easily kill them now and inherit their potential intact. However, she believed that greed could lead to ruin; not everything was suitable for her.
Standing before the immobilized Tessa, she scrutinized her with amusement amidst Tessa's anxious demeanor. "Actually, I called you out here just to discuss one thing. Now that the nuisances are gone..."
"I don't know what Mr. Samar thinks we have to talk about," Tessa replied coldly, refusing to let her guard down despite being at a disadvantage.
"Of course we do. For instance, you are not one of Black Queen's people." Staring intently at her face, Shasha revealed a piece of information that made Tessa's expression change.
Tessa couldn't help but react; her deepest thoughts had been exposed. But the change in her expression was fleeting as she feigned calmness. "According to you, if I'm not one of Black Queen's people, then who am I? White Queen?"
She thought Shasha might be trying to deceive her and clung to that slim hope.
However, since Shasha dared to meet her, he must have had complete confidence.
"Nick Fury's reach is quite extensive. Who would have thought he had people in Hellfire Club too? I'm very curious about how he would react upon learning of Black Queen's plans. Sister Tessa, has he given you any new instructions?"
Seeing the mocking expression on Shasha's face made Tessa's lips twitch. The last shred of hope in her heart shattered as a storm brewed within her. How could he possibly know? There was no way she had exposed herself!
She had been sent undercover by Nick Fury to Hellfire Club long ago. Initially following White Queen, she witnessed the transformation of Hellfire from a powerful structure with one king and two queens into the current standoff between two queens.
Afterward, she switched sides from being the confidante of the White Queen to the Black Queen, gaining reemployment and gradually earning trust without revealing a single flaw. Yet now, she had been exposed by someone with just a few words.
However, how could she know that Shasha had long been aware of this, simply unwilling to act on it? Now that she had become valuable, Shasha intended to use this opportunity for an exchange.
Tessa was a smart person. Shasha's intention to incapacitate the other three was undoubtedly to strike a deal with her. Suppressing her surprise, she asked, "What does Mr. Samar need me to do?"
After all, isn't it easier to talk to a smart person? If she kept asking how Tessa knew her identity or where she got her information, it would be quite troublesome.
"Smart people have their own way of speaking. Right now, the White Queen has taken an interest in the statue in the possession of the Black Queen. What I need is for you to inform the White Queen that the statue is in Egypt without my involvement." With her arms crossed and a faint smile on her face, Shasha seemed relaxed.
Tessa raised an eyebrow at this. Was this meant to incite war between the two sides? Such deep scheming!
But could she refuse such a condition?
