Shasha was taken onto the police car, sitting next to a policewoman who looked pure and charming.
"What are you doing? You tore down the air conditioner, and there's a big hole in the cement floor? Is this a fight? I'm asking you a question!"
Ignoring the policewoman's chatter, Shasha fell into deep thought. The awakening of that young man and Rogue Leader seemed like a coincidence, but could it be that they experienced a life-and-death awakening? How many people in this world were like that?
In the police station's holding cell, Shasha was locked in a room with the two others. Rogue Leader feared him, while the young man was filled with curiosity. After hesitating for a moment, he finally asked, "Hero, do you know what our situation is?"
He asked this because he had seen Shasha's incredible power and didn't find their strange abilities surprising. He had dreamed recently about some kind of genetic awakening but remained puzzled; perhaps Shasha could provide answers.
The young man's question also caught Rogue Leader's attention. Now calm, he too was curious about his awakened powers.
Glancing at the curious expressions on their faces, Shasha replied lightly, "To be honest, I don't know either. However, your awakenings are definitely not coincidental; it seems like you awakened some kind of gene after suffering severe injuries."
Severe injuries? The young man and Rogue Leader exchanged glances, both recalling how they had experienced what seemed like dreams only after sustaining serious wounds.
"My ability is different from yours; I've had my power from the very beginning—there's no awakening involved."
Hearing this, the young man's eyes lit up. "So there really are superheroes in this world? What about aliens?"
Rogue Leader couldn't help but sit closer to them, straining to listen.
With a meaningful look at both of them, Shasha said, "Since you both can awaken these supernatural abilities, does that mean there are aliens in your world?"
South China Sea Region.
An aircraft carrier named Giant Gorge, marked with Chinese symbols, was slowly sailing through the waters, followed by dozens of battleships and destroyers. This was an entire fleet known as the South China Fleet.
A fighter jet circled above before gradually landing on the aircraft carrier. A stunningly beautiful military flower emerged from it.
She had long rose-red hair and a tall figure that drew the attention of everyone on deck as she walked by. However, those gazes held not only admiration but also awe.
Inside the command center of the aircraft carrier, codenamed "Black Fortress," a middle-aged man dressed in a General's uniform was intently watching the large screen displaying images transmitted from satellites.
A red-haired Military Flower approached him, standing beside the General as they both observed the footage.
On the screen, a young man and Rogue Leader were frozen in a moment where they transformed from ordinary people into superhumans engaged in battle.
Finally, the General spoke, "Rosa, do you remember Sunlight?"
"Of course, that alien!" Rosa, the Military Flower, scoffed slightly.
"The data report from the Deno III System indicates that signals resembling spatial structures have been detected near Pluto in the solar system. Microwave analysis suggests that the Great Worm Bridge terminal Device has been activated. Shinkawa Gigantic God from Solaris Star has sent intelligence that a cosmic civilization invader is about to invade Earth, and these invaders are referred to as 'Tao Tie.'"
"So, she activated Earth's super genes as a precaution. You need to keep an eye on them; they're currently causing quite a bit of trouble." The General's expression was one of helplessness.
Rosa focused her gaze on the screen and spotted the young man. "Is this guy it?"
"Not just him," the General slowly shook his head and signaled for the footage to resume. Shasha appeared on screen, effortlessly suppressing Rogue Leader with a mere snap of his fingers.
At this point, Rosa's expression finally changed. "What is this?"
"He doesn't belong to the Divine River Gene sequence, but as you can see, he can overpower warriors with Divine River Genes," the General pondered before commanding, "You should meet him and test him out."
Rosa nodded at his words, an uncontrollable curiosity about Shasha bubbling within her.
She understood the General's intent; they needed to clarify this being's identity and origins—whether he was friend or foe. If he were an ally, that would be best; if an enemy, it could spell trouble.
After spending a night in detention, Shasha had become familiar with these two. The young man was named Glen—a typical college student from an ordinary university, a standard loser who liked to stand up for others but had a hint of cowardice in his nature. Rogue Leader was called Liu Chuang—a typical tough guy with a rebellious spirit who refused to bow to anyone. However, after yesterday’s events, he had come to respect Shasha.
The pressure from above was inexplicable, and the police station dared not continue to detain them. Thus, the next day, they were released, much to the displeasure of the Female Officer, who knew that according to regulations, they should have been held for three days.
After leaving the police station, the three of them chatted at the entrance. Glen and Liu Chuang asked for Shasha's contact information, then exchanged a cold glance before parting ways.
Shasha chuckled and shrugged her shoulders, just as a car pulled up in front of her. The passenger window rolled down, revealing Rosa's charming face.
Unable to help herself, Shasha let out a whistle. Rosa frowned slightly and said, "You're Shasha, right? Get in the car!"
Shasha looked at her with interest. "We don't seem to know each other, do we? Just because you tell me to get in the car, I should? That would be quite embarrassing."
Rosa felt a surge of anger; no one had ever spoken to her like that before. For the sake of business, she suppressed her irritation and tried to soften her tone. "This is about what happened yesterday. Don't you want to know why?"
Shasha paused at her words, her playful demeanor fading as she slowly nodded. "I hope you can give me a satisfactory answer."
