Shiyan descended to Earth once again, her target set on the balcony of Shasha's home.
As he and Soton were about to clear the game, a loud bang echoed, and the sudden expansion of the Magnetic Field caused the circuit to fail.
Staring blankly at the black screen, Shasha remained in a daze for a while.
"When did you start having the time to play this kind of thing? Wait," the teasing tone shifted instantly to one of serious caution. Shiyan looked at the burly figure of Soton beside Shasha, her expression suddenly turning icy. "Crocodile God Soton, you should be dead. Why are you still alive? And why are you with him?"
Shasha snapped back to reality, first calming the agitated Soton, then bewilderedly asking, "You know him?"
"The third generation Super Soldier created by Death God Karl, who doesn't know him? This guy has killed quite a few of our comrades!"
If it weren't for her rational restraint, Shiyan would have already taken action. Justice does not allow the existence of evil, and in her eyes, Soton was the source of that evil—an evil henchman, a dog of darkness.
Shasha understood that she had misunderstood. He was well aware of what had happened from Soton, so he explained, "This Soton is not that Soton. Do you understand what I mean? The Soton you know is dead. The one here just came back to life in a different 'way,' so there is no hatred between you!"
Shiyan paused, her eyes entering investigation mode. After a moment, she gently nodded. "I see."
Shasha sighed in relief; he was genuinely worried that this woman would irrationally cause a scene, which would ruin his home.
Pushing the mumbling Soton back into the room, Shasha followed Shiyan outside alone. He knew she must have something important to discuss with him, especially since she seemed in a hurry.
"You must have heard about the conflict between the Messengers and Demons, right? Since ancient times, they have been opposing forces engaged in a war lasting tens of thousands of years. Not long ago, our Messenger clan's Queen, Holy Kaisa, injured Fallen Queen Morgana, causing her to go into hiding while searching for a place to conceal herself. Then she chose Earth."
Well, Shasha thought to himself that all sorts of monsters and demons were coming out; how unlucky was Earth? It had almost become a public restroom for alien civilizations—everyone passing by wanted to take a turn.
"Noticing Morgana's energy, Holy Kaisa ordered me to come to Earth and find her traces, and I thought of you."
Shasha opened his mouth to ask if she had mistaken him for someone else when a side mission prompt suddenly rang in his ears, causing him to change his mind instantly. "Let's see how it goes; do you have any ability or item that can sense her presence?"
Shiyan nodded and then shook her head. "I do have something, but as the Demon Queen, she possesses the ability to shield her presence. Unless we can break through her shielding field."
"So it's difficult for just the two of us to find her?" Shasha pondered for a moment and said, "In that case, we should request assistance from the Huaxia Army."
Shiyan hesitated, seemingly wanting to say something but unsure how to start. In the end, she nodded, tacitly agreeing with Shasha's suggestion.
Once they had settled on a time, the two exchanged glances, and Shasha couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you leaving yet?"
Shiyan rolled her eyes. "Don't you know how exhausting, time-consuming, and labor-intensive it is to traverse star systems?"
At this, Shasha suddenly became a bit wary. "So what do you mean by that?"
Shiyan flashed a sly smile. "As the host, shouldn't you make some arrangements for me?"
Now it was Shasha's turn to roll her eyes, but she didn't refuse to help Shiyan with the arrangements.
Watching Shasha walk ahead, Shiyan recalled Holy Kaisa's words: "Originally, your guardian's matching data should have been Galactic Power, but recently there has been a shift. Justice Order believes this person is the most suitable as your guardian target, so go investigate Morgana's whereabouts and try to make contact with him."
Due to Soton's presence, it was naturally inconvenient for Shiyan to stay at home. Therefore, Shasha bought an apartment next door for her to move in directly without needing to buy anything else.
The next day, Shasha contacted Ducao's assistant Ajie using the contact information left by Rosa.
After briefly explaining the situation, Ajie sent a car to pick them up.
Suddenly interjecting, Shiyan said, "Have him tell me the coordinates; we can go ourselves."
Ajie heard this and relayed the coordinates. The next moment, he stared in shock at the two figures that appeared before him, his phone slipping from his ear and falling onto the deck of Giant Gorge.
Realizing what was happening, soldiers rushed forward, weapons drawn and aimed at the two.
Ajie raised his hand to signal everyone to calm down and lower their weapons while speaking into his earpiece. "Commander, they have arrived."
Before long, Ducao came with Reina and Rosa. After exchanging nods with Shasha—after all, they were somewhat familiar—his gaze shifted to Shiyan.
At that moment, Shiyan had folded her wings away and was dressed in a short-sleeved shirt and jeans, looking quite like a Western girl here for studies.
"Is this the one who wields Nebula?" Ducao extended his hand.
Shiyan waved her hand dismissively. "Let's skip the formalities and get to the point."
Seeing Shiyan's rudeness, Rosa stepped forward, her expression filled with anger.
Reina stopped her, gently shaking her head to signal her not to act impulsively.
Ducao remained unfazed; having seen countless things and people, he was hardly bothered by such trivial rudeness. He naturally lowered his hand and stepped aside, gesturing for them to enter. "Let's discuss this inside."
The group entered the conference hall. Once everyone was seated, Shiyan slowly began to outline the dangers posed by Morgana's entry into Earth and the consequences that would follow. In conclusion, she stated succinctly:
"If it is confirmed that Earth lacks the ability to eliminate Morgana, our clan will intervene, and at that time, the entire planet will become a battlefield for both our kind and demons. I believe none of you wish to see that happen."
