Knowing it was a trap, yet resolutely stepping into it—what else could it be but foolishness?
However, some things must be done even if you know they are foolish, because if you don’t do them, no one else will.
Now only Shasha can save Reina. That damned General Pan Zhen of the Solaris Star doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing, choosing to stand by and do nothing. With no one to rely on, he can only depend on himself.
Infiltration turned into battle as the guards of the entire ship surged in one direction. The ship's internal defense mechanisms activated, intending to trap Shasha inside with a nano-defense barrier, hoping to catch her like a fish in a barrel.
But now that they had reached SS Level, how could other Vibrations compare to the initial state? It was clear that Tao Tie overlooked one thing: humans constantly grow stronger; they cannot remain unchanged.
This is precisely what technology cannot predict and the opportunity for humanity to triumph over machines.
At this moment, body, Vibration, and martial arts interacted perfectly, forming a flawlessly functioning combat style. In close combat, there were fists; throughout the process, there was vibration. Shasha controlled her power with exquisite precision—neither shattering you into pieces nor leaving you as mere dust; instead, she thoroughly crushed everything about you into structures smaller than molecules.
Simply put, it was more fitting to say she erased your existence.
The reason Tao Tie hated Shasha so much was that any Gluttonous Soldier who died at her hands would never regain consciousness—simply put, it meant death.
Although Tao Tie served under Death God Karl and caused massive slaughter, they themselves possessed techniques that surpassed life and death. Do you think those Mechanical Gluttons are mere robots? They are living beings without physical forms, existing in another way thanks to Tao Tie. Otherwise, how could the inhabitants of the Tao Tie planet sustain their interstellar conquests?
In short, they had unlimited technology to create Mechanical Gluttons—a unique method of extracting their consciousness.
However, Shasha’s arrival truly brought death to Tao Tie. Perhaps they never anticipated that those who created death would also be met with their own demise.
As a Demigod, Shasha faced these aliens with slaughter; were aliens not human? What does advanced technology matter? Ultimately, some things cannot be explained. But the ability known as God River Calculation was indeed impressive; combined with Vibration, it made her combat power off the charts and incredibly convenient. She could even ask Reina if she could inject herself with Divine River Gene.
But before that, Shasha coldly smiled as she looked at the relentless Gluttonous Soldiers before her. Her body suddenly expanded; her left fist blocked while her right fist charged up. As the white halo grew increasingly blinding,
In the next moment, the combined impact of Vibration, demonic energy, and strength instantly tore apart everything before her.
In the command center, the Stag stared at the blank white screen, unable to see anything. The moment the surveillance feed resumed, the interior of the spaceship appeared unchanged, but where was the Gluttonous Soldier?
It was as if it had never existed, leaving only Shasha behind.
Tap, tap, tap. Slowly walking into view of the surveillance camera, Shasha smiled slightly at it and then beckoned with a finger, full of provocation. He intended to infuriate his opponent, to draw out the one who had set this trap, and then crush them with a single punch. If a problem could be solved with brute force, there was no need to overthink it; that would only lead to trouble.
In the next moment after his provocation, a towering wormhole appeared before Shasha. Emerging first was a body crafted from the toughest Tao Tie Alloy, followed by the imposing figure of the Stag.
“Human, since you wish to die, I will grant your wish!”
With a swift motion of his sword, he shouted loudly as he swung down.
Boom!
The sound echoed like a tolling bell; anyone present would likely have their eardrums shattered. Under the pressure of the sound waves, the Stag's consciousness system briefly faltered. In the next instant, he found that he couldn't pull his sword free no matter how hard he tried.
As the image stabilized, Shasha's right hand gripped the Alloy Sword tightly. The Stag roared in anger and exerted all his strength; mechanical power was far beyond that of a human. Yet before him stood not a human.
“What makes you think you are invincible?”
Shasha asked with a deep voice as he pulled hard with his right hand, causing the Stag's massive body to lean forward. “And what makes you believe humans are so weak?”
Bang!
A hand pierced through the Stag's alloy armor at his chest. He struggled to look down at the arm embedded in his torso. If he could express disbelief, he surely would have; to destroy Tao Tie Alloy with bare hands? This material rivaled Dark Alloy Armor and was crafted from anti-matter—yet it had been shattered so easily?
“Who exactly are you...”
The Stag could never finish that question because as he attempted to utter the third word, he disintegrated into invisible particles, his existence completely erased.
It’s quite simple, isn’t it? As long as it’s not Death God Karl, Shasha is fearless. This is what it means to be a Demigod.
With the death of the stag, things undoubtedly became much simpler. They pushed forward all the way to the place where Reina was held. This fierce girl seemed to have gone through a long and drowsy journey before slowly waking up.
“How do you feel?” Shasha asked with her arms crossed and a smile.
“Not bad, I can kick my internet addiction!” Reina joked, despite looking a bit out of sorts, indicating that she was likely fine.
Shasha deactivated the Device, and at that moment, the protection of the Dark Alloy Armor was lifted. Reina instantly transformed into a vulnerable state, causing both of their faces to flush simultaneously.
“Do you have any clothes?”
“Uh, it seems I don’t.”
