The hall was eerily quiet, a silence that felt almost terrifying. The few Best Men who had come with Feng Dong huddled together, trembling. They were not good people, having associated with Feng Dong, but now they didn’t even dare to look at Jiang Chen. He seemed like a demon, killing without a second thought.
"Once everything is ready, we’ll go meet Feng Laowu," Jiang Chen said as he stood up, motioning for Liu Xifang to follow him with the vase.

Liu Pingping snapped back to reality and quickly changed out of her wedding dress into casual clothes, joining Yang Er as they followed behind.

In another car, Liu Pingping and Yang Er sat in silence for a moment before Yang Er finally spoke up.
"Pingping, what do we do now? Who exactly is Mr. Jiang? This is all so bizarre! Did you see how he just waved his hand in the air and burned Feng Dong to death? Is that some kind of magic?" Yang Er said, still shaken.
"What else can we do? We’ll take it one step at a time. But I believe in Mr. Jiang; if he dared to kill Feng Dong, he must have been prepared," Liu Pingping replied, unable to hide her excitement. It was incredible that the scenario she had imagined had actually come true.
"Pingping, if Jiang Chen really solves this problem, do you think you might actually like him?" Yang Er asked suddenly.
"Uh, no way," Liu Pingping defended herself awkwardly.
"That's good! To be honest, you and Mr. Jiang are not suited for each other. Even though I've only spent two hours with him, I really dislike his attitude. He may be capable, but there's no need for him to act so high-handedly. Plus, he's too violent; he dares to kill people. It's better to keep your distance from someone like that," Yang Er advised earnestly, worried that her friend might fall for Jiang Chen.
"He killed Feng Dong for me today; from now on, whatever he asks of me, I will comply without hesitation. One should always be grateful," Liu Pingping said resolutely.
"Hey, if you don’t listen to me now, you’ll regret it later. Mr. Jiang is too showy; he doesn’t know how to keep a low profile. If he dares to kill someone, what else wouldn’t he do? After killing Feng Dong, Feng Laowu won’t let him off easily. No matter how powerful he is, he’s still in grave danger. If you get too close to him, Feng Laowu will surely target you as well. When you see Feng Laowu later, you need to distance yourself from him," Yang Er warned.

"Alright then; I hope he comes out of this unscathed," Yang Er shrugged and decided not to say more since it seemed her friend was no longer open to advice.
