Chapter Sixty-Six: It's Game Over! 0

The Daoist was momentarily taken aback, then a cold smile crept across his face. To him, the NPCs in these narrative worlds were utterly foolish; they would never understand what they were truly facing until the moment death descended upon them, at which point they would suddenly realize their folly... 0

Suddenly realize? 0

Wait a minute... what is that in this person's hand? 0

Bai Luo was pulling out a stack of Palm Thunder Talismans from his Item Storage Talisman. Over the past month, he had drawn more of these talismans than anything else. There were at least one hundred and fifty Palm Thunder Talismans in his Item Storage Talisman, and now he was pulling out fifty at once. Even while being trampled underfoot, he still managed to smile. "Brother, you're stepping on me just right. I was just thinking about how to maximize the power of my low-level talismans." 0

The Daoist certainly recognized the talismans; his brow furrowed tightly as he seemed not yet to grasp the implications of what Bai Luo was revealing. "Marvel... where's the fun in using talismans?" 0

But Bai Luo had already slapped all the activated talismans onto the Daoist's body. 0

In an instant, a burst of light erupted from the scene. 0

In the center of New York City, a vast expanse of lightning surged upward like a magnetic storm. Nearby, Lorna, who was slowly controlling a flying vehicle to land, felt an immediate instability in her manipulation of the magnetic field. 0

However, the light lasted only a moment before transforming into a shocking explosion. A figure shot up from the ground, trailing a long tail of flame behind them. The Flying Sword that had been bombarding Hulk swiftly retreated, swirling around that person. 0

That was none other than the Daoist Reincarnator. 0

His robe had been torn to shreds by the explosion. Just moments ago, Bai Luo had pressed the talisman against him at close range; the Palm Thunder had nearly exploded within his flesh. Yet now, despite his injuries, he seemed remarkably stable, even radiating a brilliant golden light from his eyes. 0

At this moment, he finally realized that he had underestimated that NPC. 0

He lowered his head and saw on the ground a man with an Eastern appearance standing upright. His clothes were also shredded by the blast, one hand clutching a stack of talismans while the other arrogantly gestured with his middle finger towards him in midair. Meanwhile, Hulk, who had just crawled out of a crater, was angrily roaring at this Daoist, clearly infuriated by him. 0

But at that moment, the Daoist suddenly sensed something and looked up into the sky. What made him change color was that just moments ago, the sky had been clear blue; now it suddenly revealed an inverted New York City hanging above him—identical to the New York City beneath his feet—except that in this Inverted New York City, there was only one person. 0

That person wore a yellow robe and had a slender figure topped with a bald head, standing in that upside-down world and looking down at him from above. 0

On the ground, Bai Luo also saw that inverted world and noticed the gleaming bald head within it. 0

Bai Luo recognized who it was at first glance. 0

It was yet another prominent bald figure in the Marvel Universe, following Charles and Nick Fury—the Supreme Sorcerer, The Ancient One. 0

And this bald figure was a woman. 0

In Marvel culture, there is an unwritten rule: baldness signifies power, baldness signifies strength. Whoever is bald is the boss—Fury was like this, Charles was like this, and this Supreme Sorcerer was no exception. Even the villains were often bald; the archvillain Thanos looked like a wrinkled egg. 0

Alright, I digress. 0

Back to the point. The moment Bai Luo saw the inverted world under The Ancient One's influence, all sounds around him vanished. The noise of pedestrians, vehicles, and explosions faded away. In an instant, amidst the two opposing New York Cities, only Bai Luo, The Ancient One, Hulk, and the Daoist Reincarnator caught between them remained. 0

In that moment, the once invincible Reincarnator found himself in a one against three situation. 0

The two New York Cities were continuously drawing closer together. As the tips of certain skyscrapers collided, they twisted in an incredible manner, layering and distorting without any actual physical collision occurring. 0

This scene, which could only be seen in dream-sharing spaces, was vividly displayed by Supreme Sorcerer Gu Yi as the two worlds began to spiral. 0

Bai Luo had only seen such scenes in movies before. 0

But there was one fellow who wouldn’t care about the changes in terrain. 0

Hulk let out an earth-shattering roar. This massive figure of Forgiveness Color leaped high into the air like a cannonball, charging directly at the Daoist above. 0

Meanwhile, in mid-air, Supreme Sorcerer Gu Yi was descending while standing on top of a thirty-story building. The inverted skyscraper beneath him seemed to transform into a Daoist path stretching from one end of the sky to the other. 0

On the ground, Bai Luo was frantically pulling talismans out from his Item Storage Talisman. 0

The expression of the Daoist in the air finally shifted from calm to anxious. Among the three present, he recognized everyone except for Bai Luo. Hulk and The Ancient One were undoubtedly two of the most powerful beings in Marvel at that moment. Although Hulk's strength in the movie universe wasn’t as formidable as in comics, he was still not to be underestimated. 0

And down below was another mysterious figure; just that one hand of talismans was already astonishing enough. 0

Surrounded by three attackers, the Daoist's expression changed several times. His hands flew up and down as he formed sword gestures, and his figure transformed into a streak of lightning, darting straight toward Bai Luo, who was directly below him. 0

Although Bai Luo had previously displayed some impressive strength, in the Reincarnator's mind, those who were powerful in the Marvel Universe were all prominent figures, and there seemed to be no Easterners among them. Therefore... 0

Moreover, the famous characters in Marvel always had their own auras, and both Hulk and The Ancient One were not easy to deal with. The former was even difficult to break through defensively, while the latter possessed abilities that were too peculiar. Instead of clashing head-on with these two unpredictable Marvel characters, it would be better to eliminate this possibly strong yet unremarkable passerby first. 0

When Bai Luo saw the figure descending toward him with a condescending gaze, he roughly guessed the opponent's intention—this was a typical street fight tactic where the assailants targeted the weakest link first. 0

But Bai Luo... he might not have the aura of Hulk or The Ancient One, but he was also equipped with an "Chinese Transmigrator" advantage. 0

He was already prepared to meet the incoming attack, each hand gripping a handful of Talismans, while simultaneously shouting in his mind, "My Ghostly Maiden Squad, prepare for battle." 0

At that very moment, the Daoist in mid-air had already summoned his Flying Sword, transforming it into a brilliant sword light as it descended! 0
