Watching Zhang Yinlin leave the kindergarten, Yelai made his way to procure living supplies. Every time he witnessed Yinlin perform her Sequence, Ghost Infant, it sent chills down his spine, a stark contrast to her gentle demeanor.
He recalled the earlier display by Zhang Yinlin. It wasn't just him; both Yinlin and the Safe Zone had undergone significant changes, with Yinlin reaching Rank Four. He couldn't help but murmur under his breath.
The Sequence relied on establishing a connection with an Entity to harness its power. Consequently, the Sequence shared the same ranking as the Entity. Rank served as a measure of strength for both the Entity and the Sequence, ranging from Rank One, the lowest, to Rank Nine, the highest.
According to Yelai's understanding of Rank, this system was not devised by humans. It was said that during humanity's struggle against Entities, they discovered the Sequence Key and simultaneously learned about Rank.
Yelai reminisced about memories from three years ago before he was killed. At that time, the highest Rank of Entities encountered by humans was merely Four. Yet, those Entities at Rank Four could easily obliterate human nations.
He pondered how much higher humanity's highest Sequence had reached in the past three years. As Yelai navigated through the crowd, he muttered to himself about how high the discovered Entities might have ranked.
Mentioning Entities brought to mind Cthulhu, the being that had resurrected him—a so-called God Entity, indescribable and beyond comprehension or scrutiny.
He was at least Rank Nine.
Although it was uncertain what Rank Cthulhu held, it did not stop Yelai from speculating. Cthulhu was an absolute Unknown Horror; so far, it was the most terrifying Entity he had ever encountered, even after being taken out of Cthulhu Town and encountering numerous Entities. No other Entity's Unknown Horror could compare to Cthulhu, let alone surpass it.
As he thought about the Entities outside Cthulhu Town, Yelai couldn't help but mutter to himself. The expedition teams that ventured outside Cthulhu Town and managed to survive were incredibly lucky; after all, the Entities out there were at least Rank Four.
Yelai's expression turned contemplative. Humanity back then was not like humanity now; at that time, Luo Zhenxue, who was Rank Three, was among the best of humans.
When he thought of Luo Zhenxue, Yelai paused for a moment. Just hold on a little longer; once Zhenxue finds some clues, she will come looking for him. After all, even if he didn't seek her out, Zhenxue would know he was alive.
He placed his hand in his pocket and absentmindedly reached for the Sequence Coordinate Stone in his hand. He wasn't worried that Luo Zhenxue was still waiting for his resurrection because he had the Sequence Coordinate Stone. This was something buried with a signal only they knew; once she went to Cthulhu Town and checked whether the Sequence Coordinate Stone was still there, if she found it missing, she would understand that Yelai had come back to life. Only Yelai could discover the Sequence Coordinate Stone.

The infrared sensor door of the supermarket opened.
Yelai stepped into the supermarket. He picked up a basket at the entrance and began shopping while continuing his thoughts.
Zhenxue is investigating; I can't just wait around.
