After spending three years in the Safe Zone, Zhong Zhi was incredibly familiar with it.
Now, the Safe Zone had three factions. One was led by him, a faction he had built up over the past three years with the support of the Numbered Protection Zone, making his faction the largest in the Safe Zone. The second faction chose to remain neutral, not wanting to engage in factional disputes, focusing instead on protecting and developing the Safe Zone, though it had fewer members. Zhong Zhi did not care much for this faction.
What truly concerned him was the third faction. Luo Zhenxue held great prestige in the Safe Zone and had made significant contributions to its establishment, attracting a group of followers, many of whom were captains and vice captains three years ago. Even after Luo Zhenxue left the Safe Zone, her followers continued to shine within it. They were led by Zhang Yinlin.
Despite his efforts over the past three years to weaken their faction, he could not underestimate them, especially since Zhang Yinlin was also a Rank Four Sequencer like himself. As long as Zhang Yinlin remained, he could not establish himself as the kingpin of the Safe Zone.
Just as Zhong Zhi pondered how to deal with Zhang Yinlin to prevent her from interfering with his plans to eliminate Yelai, he heard his Vice Captain's voice.

"Do you remember the Entity we encountered ten kilometers outside the Safe Zone at Hu Family Village today?"
"How could I forget that cursed place?"
The conversation paused abruptly, and Zhong Zhi understood what his Vice Captain meant; his eyes narrowed slightly. Hu Family Village? That was indeed a good idea.

At Fallen Leaves Kindergarten, when Yelai returned from procuring supplies, it was just in time for extracurricular activities. The children were running around and playing outside their classroom. Many of them were curious about Yelai's unfamiliar face and couldn't help but steal glances at her.
"Brother, are you Yelai?"
A lively child ran up, looking up with big, watery eyes.
Yelai recognized the newcomer. This was the little brat who had asked Zhang Yinlin about the Unknown Horror; his name seemed to be Xiao Jun.
"I am Yelai. What’s up? Do you know me?" Yelai squatted down, smiling as he ruffled Xiao Jun's hair.
"Of course! You're famous! My uncle mentioned you. He said you managed to win over Captain Luo; that's impressive!"
As Luo Zhenxue's boyfriend, Yelai was well-known not just among adults but also among children.
Xiao Jun stepped forward to chat, and soon other kids gathered around.
"Brother, you really are Captain Luo's boyfriend! How did you manage to get him? You're a White Key!"
"Wow! So Xiao Jun wasn't joking; it really is Yelai!"
The children chattered excitedly. Perhaps due to their innocent nature and the adults' opinions about Yelai, many of the kids spoke with a mix of naivety and harshness.
"Yelai, my dad says you're not good enough for Captain Luo, but I think you're really handsome!"
"What does being handsome matter? My mom said that nowadays, you have to choose right; it has to be a Sequencer."
"Yelai, let me tell you, my brother admires you a lot! He says that even though you're both Waste Keys, you managed to win over Captain Luo. He wants to do the same!"
"Thanks, Yelai! The candy is really delicious. You're nothing like what my uncles said; they said you're bad, but I think you're really nice."
"Yelai, I heard that you're henpecked—is that true? They say Captain Luo could knock you down with just one finger."
Despite their unintentional hurtful remarks, Yelai felt no anger at all.
