The children were certainly important, but Yelai was equally important. Meeting the Entity could happen at any time, but Yelai only had one life. She didn't believe that Yelai could be revived a second time.

Zhong Zhi raised an eyebrow at her words. Everything was so unexpected; things were progressing too smoothly. He had prepared extensively, yet none of it was needed as Zhang Yinlin agreed.
"Captain Zhong, you set a time for when to take the kids out of the Safe Zone to see the Entity. Thank you for your trouble."
"Not a trouble at all, hahaha, it's what I should do."
Fearing delays would lead to changes, Zhong Zhi casually agreed and left.
As he walked away, Zhang Yinlin didn't say much more and found a reason to call Yelai into the office.
"Yelai, why did you want me to agree to Zhong Zhi's proposal?"

Zhong Zhi waved his hand dismissively. He knew the Vice Captain's cautious nature; he was far more prudent than him. He continued, "Of course, being cautious is not wrong, but even if we think of the worst-case scenario—what if Yelai really became a Sequencer? So what? He would only have three hours at most. Do you think he could go from Rank 1 to Rank 5 in that time? The higher the rank, the more dangerous it becomes; it's not that easy."
No. Thinking even worse, even if he somehow managed to reach Rank 5, so what? The Entity from Hu Family Village was not an ordinary Entity. Ranks were indeed a measure of strength for Sequencers and Entities.
However, the category of Sequence is also a measure of strength. Unless Yelai's Sequence is particularly special, but is that even possible?
