Second Squad was cautious, alert to any slight movement around them. They were confident that even Rank [4] Zhong Zhi and Zhang Yinlin would be detected if they attempted to follow.

Having spent three years outside Cthulhu Town evading powerful Anomalous Entities, Yelai had honed his skills in stealth, counter-tracking, and escape. The counter-tracking methods of the mere Second Squad seemed trivial to him.
At this moment, he was not only following them but also contemplating other thoughts. He recalled the personnel information of Second Squad, particularly how Zhang Yinlin had introduced him to the situation in the Safe Zone, providing detailed insights into Zhong Zhi's Sequence Team.
As he watched them gradually delve deeper into Hu Family Village, he learned that their mission was to locate the position of the Anomalous Entity in the village.
Yelai pondered whether he should eliminate them on the spot. The captain was Rank [3], the vice captain was also Rank [3], while the others were all Rank [2].
After a moment of consideration, he felt he was close to a decision. He quickened his pace, his eyes reflecting the silhouette of a member from Second Squad. This particular member, known as "Eagle" within the squad, specialized in reconnaissance due to his Sequence, but his overall strength was mediocre, placing him at the bottom of the team.
Meanwhile, at another entrance of Hu Family Village, Uncle Zhou was leading a team to turn back towards where Zhang Yinlin and her group were located.
“Uncle Zhou, aren’t we looking for Yelai?”
Do not search; first find Yinlin and converge. We must warn Yinlin and the others before the Second Squad finds that Anomalous Entity.
Uncle Zhou's expression was as solemn as ice.
Not long ago, he had a conversation with Yelai, from which he learned that the Second Squad was in Hu Family Village, and immediately sent the information to Zhang Yinlin and her team.

"That Anomalous Entity is somewhat similar to one I know," Uncle Zhou said, his face tense.
Ever since he learned about the Anomalous Entity, his expression had never relaxed. There were numerous types of Anomalous Entities discovered so far; unless one specialized in research, it was difficult to remember them all. The members of the Squad present were unfamiliar with this particular Anomalous Entity.
"Which Anomalous Entity are you referring to?"
"The Incorporeal type—Gaze," Uncle Zhou replied steadily.
As he spoke about this Anomalous Entity, his serious demeanor became even more grave.
The Squad members' pupils constricted. Although they did not know the specifics of the Anomalous Entity Uncle Zhou mentioned, upon hearing that it was classified as Incorporeal, they understood its complexity and danger.
In that moment, they finally grasped why Uncle Zhou insisted that after learning about the Anomalous Entity in Hu Family Village, Yelai should stop tracking it and converge with them and Zhang Yinlin instead. Furthermore, Uncle Zhou instructed Yelai to avoid Hu Family Village on the way to their rendezvous.
The reason was clear: the Anomalous Entity in Hu Family Village was of the Incorporeal category. As the name suggests, it has no physical form.
Entities of this type, referred to as Anomalous Entities, do not possess a physical form. They are invisible and intangible. Even after five years since the Year of the Sequence, scientists studying Anomalous Entities have yet to determine the appearance of these Incorporeal Anomalous Entities.
