The driver of the armored vehicle nodded and slammed the accelerator, speeding towards Signal Point.
In less than half a minute, they passed Signal Point. Through the windshield, the Team Leader of Squad Two could clearly see that the battle at Signal Point was equally fierce.
Madness surged from all directions. The Sequence Team members at Signal Point fought desperately to fend off the onslaught.
Looking closer, it was evident that these Sequence Team members were battered and bruised, not faring much better than the Team Leader of Squad Two and his crew inside the vehicle. Some had lost an arm, gritting their teeth as they defended against four arms of Madness with just one hand. Others had most of their faces torn apart, their mouths and teeth exposed in a gruesome display. Some lay on the ground, their bodies mangled and faces frozen in expressions of unwillingness, clearly lifeless.
The roars and screams of Madness echoed around them, creating a scene as horrific as hell itself.
Inside the vehicle, everyone fell silent, some wanting to jump out and help but feeling powerless to do so. They still had a mission; if they diverted to assist here, it would be tantamount to abandoning Signal Point—an outcome none wished to see.
The only thing they could do now was to reach Signal Point quickly to defend it and wait for Commander’s support, at which point they could allocate manpower to assist Signal Point.
Without hesitation, the armored vehicle sped past Signal Point without stopping, heading straight for Signal Point.
With the pedal pressed to the floor, they soon arrived at Signal Point.
Upon arrival, the driver quickly stopped the vehicle and opened the back door of the armored car.
Hearing this, the Team Leader of Squad Two sprang into action, just like Yelai before him, leading the way out of the vehicle while urgently signaling for everyone inside to follow.
"Get out! Support!"
The voice suddenly cut off, and the Second Squad Captain, who had jumped out of the vehicle, froze in place. The others who followed suit also stood still, their eyes wide with shock as they heard the exclamation from the Foreign Sequencer.
My God! What happened here?!
At that moment, before them, the Signal Point was like a hell on earth, just as the previous Signal Point had been. However, this hell was entirely different.
Corpses lay scattered everywhere, with Acupoint bodies sprawled in every direction. Not far away, there was a small mountain of Acupoint corpses piled up high.
Looking around, there wasn't a single living Acupoint in sight.
!!!
The Team Leader of Squad Two gripped the Black Fairy Tale tightly, stunned along with the others.
Excluding the surrounding Acupoint bodies, there were at least four or five dozen dead Acupoints in that small mountain of corpses alone.
Compared to the roars and howls echoing from the previous Signal Point, the silence here was chilling and eerie.
They couldn't imagine what kind of Unknown Horror had transpired to turn this place into such a nightmarish scene.
Yet despite not knowing what had happened at the Signal Point, one thing was clear:
The hellish state of the Signal Point was not caused by the Acupoints. Under the large-scale invasion of Anomalous Entities, it was rare for them to turn on each other. Moreover, judging by their state of death, it didn't seem like they had killed each other.
But who could be responsible for this?
Had other Anomalous Entities arrived?
Or was it Yelai's doing?
The Team Leader of Squad Two briefly lost focus before quickly asking, "Where is Mr. Ye Lai?"
The current situation at the Signal Point left them both shocked and surprised. They hadn't forgotten that Yelai was there to fend off the Anomalous Entity invasion, and they had come to assist him in that fight.
"Quick, look for Mr. Ye Lai!
Mr. Ye Lai, where are you? We're here to support you!"
As the saying goes, "When you're alive, you want to see people; when you're dead, you want to see corpses." They immediately began shouting and searching for Yelai in the surrounding area.
Before long, after a thorough search, one of them reported, "Li Team, I haven't found Mr. Ye Lai here."
"I haven't found him either."
