He pondered, while Squad Captain and the others were also searching for Yelai, murmuring to themselves.

The one analyzing the situation was a Sequence from the Safe Zone. He looked around, his gaze landing on a corpse of an Acupoint before hesitating slightly and saying, "Compared to Mr. Ye Lai being eaten by the Acupoints, have you noticed the state of these Acupoint corpses?"
Everyone was taken aback.
Although they didn't respond verbally, the strange expressions on their faces indicated that they had already noticed something amiss; they just didn't have time to care about it while searching for Yelai's whereabouts.
Now that the Sequence from the Numbered Protection Zone brought it up, they could no longer ignore it.
The condition of the dead Acupoints here was not only gruesome but many of them showed signs of having been bitten at their Dead Points.
These bite marks resembled those made by humans.
The Sequence revealed his findings.
Upon hearing this, the others exchanged glances, their thoughts unspoken but clear; they shared the same opinion. Just thinking about it sent a chill down their spines.
After all, there was only Yelai among the humans at Signal Point.
In the next moment, the foreign Sequence broke the silence first. "Are you suggesting that this was done by Mr. Ye Lai?"
The Sequence from the Numbered Protection Zone nodded directly, sweeping his gaze over the corpses scattered around him. "Do you think there are any other possibilities for this situation besides Mr. Ye Lai being responsible?"
No one could refute his words. In fact, after witnessing the situation at Signal Point, they all immediately thought of Yelai, especially after confirming that the numerous bite marks on the bodies of the Acupoint were human bites. This thought weighed heavily on their minds. After all, the only humans at Signal Point were Yelai.
As they pondered this, a sense of shock filled their hearts, and memories of their earlier departure from Signal Point to support it flooded back. Yelai had informed them that he could handle Signal Point alone.
Mr. Ye Lai's words were not merely meant to reassure us. A foreign Sequence murmured: he really can fend off Signal Point by himself. I believe it's more than just defending against Signal Point.
The Sequence from the Numbered Protection Zone spoke these words, and even without elaborating further, everyone understood the implication. They couldn't help but glance at the surrounding bodies of Acupoint. Without exception, many of the Acupoint corpses bore expressions of horror and fear on their faces before death. Clearly, they had died in terror.
The group was profoundly shaken; Yelai not only held down a Defense Point by himself but also instilled fear in these Anomalous Entities, the Acupoint, making them tremble in dread. The Squad Captain glanced at the Black Fairy Tale in his hand and silently put it away.
Suddenly, a member of the Sixth Team shouted, "Li Team, we have a discovery!" They were not so overwhelmed by shock that they forgot to search for Yelai. The group quickly walked over to where the team member pointed on the ground and discovered numerous footprints. Aside from those of the Acupoint, there was a distinct shoe print that clearly belonged to a human.
Soon, after assessing the location and size of the shoe print, they were almost certain that it was likely left by Yelai.
"Mr. Ye Lai not only defended Signal Point but also chased after something?" The foreign Sequence looked astonished. From the direction the shoe print led away, they had reason to believe that Yelai had indeed pursued someone or something.
Suddenly, their eyelids twitched uncontrollably. Was this an invasion by the Anomalous Entity into the Numbered Protection Zone, or was it a swarm of Yelai Invasive Sequence Organisms at the Acupoint? Just as they were shaken by their thoughts, a voice came through the Squad Captain's earpiece.
