Rare Scene It was extraordinary.
Yelai watched with a keen gaze, his eyes slightly narrowed, yet there was no hint of surprise; instead, he seemed to anticipate the scene before him, as if it matched the information provided by Xu Professor.
He murmured softly, directing his attention ahead.
In front of him, unlike the surrounding barrenness and desolation, stood an enormous amusement park.
As he looked further, Yelai could see the park's attractions: a towering roller coaster that pierced the clouds and a rusted Ferris wheel that appeared on the verge of collapse.
That was Sequence Amusement Park, the place Xu Limin mentioned that could help Yelai with his use of Black Fairy Tale.
At that moment, Yelai stepped off the Teleportation Jetai, joining the other humans and Entity as they approached Sequence Amusement Park. As he got closer, he began to discern the true appearance of the park.
The large iron gates of the dilapidated amusement park seemed to have been abandoned for some time; several railings were rusted away, and spider webs clung to the corners of the gates.
It was a midnight amusement park that had closed for business.
This was Yelai's first impression upon nearing Sequence Amusement Park.
Despite the amusement park's gates being wide open and the absence of Security or staff, all the Entity present adhered strictly to some unspoken rule, lining up to collect tickets before entering.
"Excuse me, can I ask you something?"
Just as Yelai joined the queue with the other Entity, a voice called out from behind him.
Turning around, he saw three individuals. From their attire, Yelai quickly identified one as a Sequencer, while the other two appeared to be ordinary people.
With the discovery of Sequence Amusement Park, word had spread over time about its strange and miraculous aspects. More and more individuals suffering from severe ailments or injuries chose to take a gamble by coming here.
"Is there something you need?" asked Yelai, looking up at the Sequencer.
"Cough, I am a Sequencer from the Numbered Protection Zone. My name is Sun Chao, and these two are my wife and daughter.
The thing is, I'm not very familiar with the Sequence Amusement Park. I noticed you seemed to navigate the lines effortlessly; you must be quite familiar with it, right?"
The Sequencer did not hesitate to introduce himself. Although he served as the Vice Captain in the Numbered Protection Zone, he had enough experience as a Sequencer to recognize that Yelai was no ordinary person.
"My family and I need to visit the Sequence Amusement Park for some matters, but we came here in a hurry and don't know much about it. Could you tell us how to enter the amusement park? Besides waiting in line, are there any other requirements or processes we should be aware of?"
Yelai glanced at Sun Chao's wife and daughter. His daughter looked pale and unwell, which made it clear that she was not in good health.
Seeing this, Yelai could somewhat guess the reason behind their urgency.
"Just wait in line, don't cut in. When you reach the ticket window, keep your hand extended inside until you receive your tickets; don’t pull your hand back before that."
He pointed to the ticket window at the entrance, revealing information without hesitation since it wasn't a secret.
"Thank you, thank you!" Sun Chao nodded gratefully upon hearing this. He took out his identification card, intending to offer Yelai Monthly Sequence Points as a reward, but Yelai turned away without looking back and said, "No need, it's just a small effort."
After saying this, he joined the queue.
Sun Chao had no choice but to give up on his offer. He took his wife and daughter and chose a line to wait in. However, before leaving, he made sure to bow towards Yelai as a gesture of thanks.
Before long, it was Yelai's turn at the ticket window. Just as he had told Sun Chao, upon reaching the ticket counter, he confidently extended his hand into the darkened window.
