At the moment Entity nodded, the attacks from the tourists present surged forth in unison.
The closest tourist, a Sequencer, raised his hand and swung it towards Yelai. As he did, the skin on his hand seemed to stretch infinitely, closing in on the bracelet in Yelai's grasp.
Beside him, an Entity known as the 【Hanged Ghost】 emitted a chilling sound, as if its throat were being constricted.
Yelai sensed something amiss and looked up. A tattered rope had descended from above, aiming to ensnare his neck.
One after another, Sequence Attacks came crashing down. Although the tourists included both Entity and Sequencer, they shared a silent understanding as they launched their strikes—some focused on restraining Yelai, while others targeted the bracelet he held.
In response to this, Yelai could only let out a cold snort, accompanied by a strange smile.
In the next moment, the nearest Sequencer and the 【Hanged Ghost】 suddenly felt a suffocating dread wash over them, an endless fear bubbling up from within. It spread like a plague.
First affecting just the two of them, it quickly radiated outward. All the tourists who had aimed their attacks at Yelai clutched their heads in terror, their Sequence Attacks abruptly halted.
The sudden emergence of an Unknown Horror left the Entity allied with Yelai stunned. It was intimidated by Yelai's Sequence Power, but before it could think further, it found itself frozen in place.
As Yelai's voice rang out, he cast an annoyed glance at it. The Entity, taken aback, gazed deeply at Yelai. If Yelai were to strike at it, even with its Rank, it would likely struggle to gain any advantage against him.
With a flicker of trepidation in its eyes, it decided to act. Opening its mouth wide, its tongue shot out like that of a frog's—long and capable of reaching far distances.
It lashed out and ensnared the nearest 【Hanged Ghost】 with its tongue, yanking it off the carousel and flinging it away violently.
The 【Hanged Ghost】 let out a strangled cry as if its throat were being choked.
It reacted quickly, instinctively dropping a hemp rope from the sky in fear after being thrown. One end of the rope looped around the Carousel, while the other wrapped around its neck, preventing it from being flung into the wind wall and torn apart.
However, this action did not allow it to survive for long. The Entity's tongue struck the Carousel like a massive hammer.
Boom!
The Carousel shattered in response.
The Hanged Ghost attempted to throw another rope around the Carousel, but the Entity did not give it a chance, swinging its tongue and smashing it into the wind wall.
The entire process took less than two seconds.
After finishing with that, the Entity repeated the same method against the other guests.
Ultimately, there was a gap in Rank, and due to Yelai, they fell into fear, one by one being dealt with by Yelai.
Half a minute passed.
Looking back at the Carousel, including Yelai and the Entity, only a few guests remained.
Three guests kept their distance from Yelai and the Entity, standing at one end of the Carousel while Yelai and the Entity were at the other end.
"Don't get close to him; that person's Sequence has a range. We are outside of that range," said the farthest Sequencer from Yelai, his face filled with lingering fear.
She was a Female Sequence Holder and, aside from Yelai, was one of the last remaining Sequencers; all others had become Entities.
