Listening to the reminders from the Female Sequence Holder beside him, Yelai remained calm despite having been discovered regarding some aspects of his Sequence Power. This was merely one facet of his abilities, or rather, a new Fear Sequence Power he had acquired after reaching Rank Eight.
Fear Domain.
"Activating this Sequence Power, the Invoker cannot move and can instill fear in everything within a five-meter radius centered on themselves," he thought. It was no wonder that Sequencers ranked Seven and above were referred to as Higher Sequence Beings. Any Sequencer above Rank Seven would gain immensely powerful Sequence Powers thereafter.
Previously, Yelai's Fear could only affect a single entity, but since reaching Rank Seven, his Fear Sequence had grown stronger. Now at Rank Eight, it was no longer limited to just one target; it had become area-wide.

Yelai paid no mind to the Female Sequence Holder who was nervously watching him; instead, he cast a glance at the Entity. At that moment, the Entity shifted to another position on the Carousel. After teaming up with Yelai to resolve the crisis with the tourists, it chose not to ally with the remaining three tourists against him out of fear and uncertainty. Without confidence in winning, it preferred to observe rather than risk confronting Yelai alongside the three tourists.
At the same time, the two Entities saved by the Female Sequence Holder were also murmuring among themselves. Unfortunately, Yelai could not understand their language and had no idea what they were saying. However, he could at least see their expressions; they looked far more terrified when gazing at him than they did at the Female Sequence Holder.
The Female Sequence Holder was fortunate; she had chosen a position on the Carousel that exceeded the five-meter range of Yelai's Fear Domain. Because of this, she managed to save the two Entities despite being unable to fully escape its influence.
In the Human Realm, Entities and Sequencers were mortal enemies, yet here she found herself compelled to save them. If she didn’t help them, she stood no chance against either Yelai or that Entity.
In an instant, a triangular standoff formed on the Carousel: one side represented Yelai, another side represented the Entity, and the third side was occupied by the Female Sequence Holder along with her two rescued Entities.
Yelai glanced at his watch. The carousel was spinning, marking the passage of time. Perhaps due to the fewer tourists, the Carousel no longer broke down on its own; it simply spun quietly and rapidly, showing no signs of abnormality apart from its speed.
Seeing this, Yelai temporarily abandoned the idea of enhancing the Fear Domain with fear amplification. Fear amplification was a Sequence Power he obtained at Rank Seven, capable of strengthening any fear-related Sequence Power, including the Fear Domain acquired at Rank Eight.
"Better to hold back," Yelai thought to himself. This was the Sequence Amusement Park, where variables were too numerous to predict. Without certainty about killing that Entity, he didn’t want to reveal too many of his cards. If the opponent survived, it could lead to significant trouble in future encounters with other attractions.
Yelai couldn't help but glance at that Entity. On the surface, it appeared that the Entity's Sequence allowed its tongue to extend and grow to Rank Eight. He doubted that its Sequence was as simple as just a tongue stretching out.
It probably had more tricks up its sleeve. What kind of Entity could it be? Yelai pondered. The Entity resembled a human but was tall and slender, standing at about six feet. It matched several types of Entities he knew, leaving him uncertain whether it was an already identified Entity or one yet to be discovered.
Thus, Yelai compared the characteristics of various Entities with their Sequences in mind, formulating strategies for each as time passed swiftly by.
