Seeing that both of them had agreed, Zhang Kai proceeded to post a recruitment video for Ability users online as per his earlier plan. Soon, one by one, Ability users arrived at the entrance of Fog Mountain Sanctuary, seeking to join their organization.
That morning, Yang Yin stepped out from the sanctuary's entrance, preparing to drive away. As he casually looked up, he spotted a familiar figure. Not far from him at the entrance, a young woman was speaking softly with two guards, seemingly explaining what kind of Ability she possessed.
Yang Yin recognized her immediately; it was his cousin, Tang Mo. He quickly walked over, surprise written all over his face as he exclaimed, "Cousin, it's really you! I almost thought I had mistaken you for someone else."
Tang Mo was equally astonished upon seeing Yang Yin. "Cousin, what are you doing here? Weren't you still in prison?"
Yang Yin chuckled and explained, "Haha, you must have seen that video online, right? The person in the video is my cellmate, Zhang Kai. A few days ago, we escaped from prison together."
Tang Mo's expression shifted to one of realization as she responded, "Oh, I see! The video mentioned that everyone in this sanctuary is an Ability user. So that means you've awakened your Ability too?"
Yang Yin nodded with a smile and demonstrated his invisibility Ability in front of Tang Mo.
"That's great! I've also awakened my Ability and I'm preparing to join Fog Mountain Sanctuary. With you here, I feel much more at ease," Tang Mo said excitedly as she explained her own Ability to Yang Yin.
They then went upstairs together and settled into the room arranged by Zhang Kai.
Over a week passed when suddenly Yang Yin's friend Ma Zhibiao was killed by an unknown assailant. Under Zhang Kai's arrangement, Yang Yin went to his cousin Tang Mo's room to discuss their future plans.
Yang Yin pulled up a chair and recounted the entire sequence of events to Tang Mo. After listening, she nodded thoughtfully and said to him, "After hearing your story, I also feel that Lu Xiaoran must be involved somehow. Setting aside Little Ma's situation, just the fact that the three Ability users who partnered with him all died within a day is very suspicious."
Seeing that Tang Mo shared his viewpoint, Yang Yin felt more confident and replied seriously, "Yes, I think that kid is definitely behind it. The leader told me before that we can't act against Lu Xiaoran just yet. What we need to do now is get close to him and figure out what his second Ability is. Only when we have complete certainty can we take action."
Tang Mo's face showed a look of surprise after hearing this. She raised her head to look at Yang Yin and asked, "Are you saying that Lu Xiaoran has two abilities at the same time? That seems unlikely, doesn't it?"
Yang Yin shook her head and explained, "It's not strange to have two abilities. The leader himself possesses two abilities."
The current signs already indicated that Lu Xiaoran had a very high possibility of having a second ability. After thinking for a moment, Tang Mo nodded. She recalled that when she first arrived at the shelter, Yang Yin had indeed mentioned that Zhang Kai had two abilities.
