"Yes, that's right. I've been in the gas several times before; it shouldn't be a problem."
Lu Xiaoran turned to examine the woman sitting behind him. At that moment, Tang Mo had disguised herself as the famous actress Zhang Mi, looking stunning and captivating.
"Really? That's impressive. Being immune to this kind of gas might mean you can withstand other toxins too. I don't think this ability is as weak as it seems," she said, feigning admiration while continuing to engage Lu Xiaoran in conversation.

Lu Xiaoran chuckled and shook his head, responding nonchalantly, "Haha, how could that be? I'm just a low-level worker."
The two continued their casual conversation, with Tang Mo persistently asking questions mostly related to Lu Xiaoran's personal information.
"Why do I feel like there's something off about this woman?" Lu Xiaoran maintained his smile, but a hint of suspicion crept into his mind. He began to wonder if this woman was truly Zhang Mi.
He hadn't paid much attention to the entertainment industry before and didn't know much about Zhang Mi. However, it was common sense that celebrities were usually proud and wouldn't casually show interest in someone like him who had no status or identity.
Yet here was Tang Mo, chattering away and seemingly very interested in him. This raised Lu Xiaoran's alertness.

Even though Tang Mo's looks were striking after her disguise—enough to make any man take notice—what mattered more to him was understanding her true intentions for getting close to him.

Lu Xiaoran felt that these two people were likely sent to monitor him, just like the previous Ma Zhibiao. It didn't matter whether the woman sitting in the back seat was the celebrity he knew or not. Since she appeared in this shelter, she was probably an Ability user as well.
