Zhang Kai pointed at the map on his phone. "Lu Xiaoran is currently ten miles north at the Haitong Television Tower. You all need to use your Flying Ability and chase after him quickly. I'm driving down the mountain with the others, and we should be able to meet up with you soon."
After hearing Zhang Kai's words, the three individuals nodded, donned their Gas Masks, grabbed their weapons, and swiftly took off from the mountain, heading straight for the Haitong Television Tower as indicated by Zhang Kai.
The Haitong Television Tower is located in the central district of Haidong City, reaching an astonishing height of meters. Including two underground levels, it has a total of layers. It stands as a landmark of Haidong City and is also the tallest tower in the Dragon Kingdom.
Zhang Kai knew Lu Xiaoran was inside the Haitong Television Tower because just moments ago, Lu Xiaoran had used his Ability to fly out of a window, and a guard at the entrance of the shelter had spotted him. This guard also possessed Flying Ability; upon seeing Lu Xiaoran fleeing northward, he immediately called Zhang Kai to report.
He then used his Ability to soar into the air, closely following Lu Xiaoran until he reached the front of the Haitong Television Tower.
"Boss, I saw that guy stop at the television tower. He has now gone down from the observation deck at the top and entered the tower," reported the guard to Zhang Kai.
"Don't engage him yet; keep your distance so he doesn't notice you. This kid's Ability is very strong; you might not be able to handle him alone," Zhang Kai instructed. "I've sent three people with Flying Ability; they should arrive in a few minutes. Even if you four can't defeat him, you must hold him off until I arrive with reinforcements. We will definitely take him down together."
After acknowledging Zhang Kai's orders, the guard hurriedly landed on the observation deck at the top of the television tower. He had just seen Lu Xiaoran enter through the central entrance of the platform.
Not daring to waste a second, he quickly approached the entrance and slipped inside. Following the staircase downwards, he soon reached the top level of the television tower—the One Hundred Fifty-Third Floor.
Since there was no power in the Haitong Television Tower at that moment, the entire floor was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by faint light filtering through the windows, allowing him to make out his path below.
The guard tiptoed carefully, ensuring his shoes made no sound. He stealthily continued down the stairs and was just about to reach the bottom when suddenly a shadow darted out from beside the staircase.
The shadow moved with incredible speed, lunging directly toward the guard.
The guard was startled, and the phone he had been holding slipped from his grasp and fell to the ground. In a panic, he activated his Ability and flew into the air, trying to escape towards the stairs. However, his speed was no match for the shadow pursuing him from behind.
In less than a second, the shadow caught up with him in mid-air. The guard instantly felt both of his arms being seized by the shadow. The grip was incredibly strong, and no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't break free from its hold.
