Lu Xiaoran possessed the ability of Physical Enhancement. If he exerted his full strength to push forward, he could easily break the iron door. However, he didn't want to completely destroy the elevator door, so he carefully pushed it forward with considerable force.
Soon, the iron door was deformed, creating a gap about twenty centimeters wide. Lu Xiaoran picked up the corpse on the ground and tossed it through the opening. The body quickly fell into the elevator shaft beyond the door.
He then took his phone from his left hand and, after a few operations, pleasant music began to play from it. After turning up the volume, he threw the phone through the gap in the elevator door. With no other noise nearby, the entire building felt eerily quiet. The music coming from the phone could be heard clearly even from a distance.
Lu Xiaoran approached the wall and found the Power Distribution Box that supplied electricity to this floor. With a loud crash, he kicked the Power Distribution Box until it was in ruins. He then reached inside and pulled out a wire coated in insulating varnish.
Since the entire Haitong Television Tower had already lost power, Lu Xiaoran wasn't worried about the risk of electric shock during this series of actions. This length of wire should be sufficient. He extracted about a meter of wire from the distribution box, then pulled hard to snap it.
Holding the wire in his hand, Lu Xiaoran walked over to the deformed elevator door and secured one end of the wire to it. The elevator door was made of metal, which had good conductivity. Therefore, all he needed to do was release electricity from one end of the wire using his Electric Shock Ability, and the current would travel along the wire to reach the elevator door.
The trap was set; now all he had to do was wait for his prey. A sinister smile crept onto Lu Xiaoran's face as he held onto one end of the wire and stepped aside to hide around a corner. Leaning against the wall, he stood silently waiting for the arrival of three Flying Ability Users.
Two minutes later, three figures descended onto the observation platform at the top level of Haitong Television Tower.
"Xiao Li, Xiao Wang. Over there is the entrance to the TV tower. Let's go down from there and meet up with the person we came with."
A tall middle-aged man turned around and quietly signaled to the two companions beside him. The two nodded in response and followed closely behind him as they descended from the observation deck into the interior of the tower.
Wait, what’s that sound? Someone is playing music...
As the three of them walked halfway down the stairs, they clearly heard the pop song that Lu Xiaoran had selected to play on his phone earlier.
"I have a bad feeling about this. You two keep your guns ready. If you see that kid named Lu Xiaoran, shoot him on sight."
The tall middle-aged man slightly turned his head, speaking in a low voice to the two behind him with a wary expression.
Soon, all three had their handguns loaded and gripped tightly in their hands, prepared to fire at any moment.
"Shh, keep it down. The music seems to be coming from over there."
