Upon hearing Zhang Kaiwen's words, everyone became alert. They raised their guns, nervously scanning their surroundings in search of Lu Xiaoran's figure. However, after a while, they found no suspicious movements.
Just as the tension among them began to ease, a sudden scream echoed from near the wall.
"Ah!"
Everyone turned their heads toward the source of the sound. They saw one of their companions seemingly hurled away by some invisible force. His body arced through the air before crashing heavily to the ground. It was clear that he had sustained serious injuries from the impact.
After coughing up several mouthfuls of blood, he rolled his eyes back and collapsed on the ground, motionless.
This... how is this possible?
Zhang Kaiwen's eyes widened in disbelief; he had just witnessed the entire incident. There was nothing beside the man when he was thrown, as if the force that attacked him was not a tangible object but rather an entirely unseen presence.
Invisibility...
Zhang Kaiwen stood there, murmuring softly to himself. He recalled that Yang Yin's Ability was invisibility. This Ability allowed its user to remain completely transparent for ten seconds.
If the one who attacked this man was an Ability user with invisibility, then everything made sense.
How many Abilities does Lu Xiaoran possess...?
Confusion filled Zhang Kaiwen's face. He knew that Ability users could have more than one Ability. After all, he himself was an Ability user with two different Abilities. However, he had no idea how many Abilities a single user could possess at most.
Now, Lu Xiaoran had already demonstrated three different abilities. If those four charred individuals were also killed by Lu Xiaoran's abilities, then he likely possessed even more.
Zhang Kaiwen felt his entire body trembling, overwhelmed by a fear so intense it nearly consumed him. The other ability users were terrified at the sight and hurriedly followed Zhang Kaiwen's orders, positioning themselves against the wall. They raised their guns, staring blankly at the empty floor before them. Zhang Kaiwen had just mentioned that Lu Xiaoran could turn invisible.
