Three people got out of the car, wanting to see what had happened. They hadn't walked far when they came across the bodies of the four members from Team Two.
What... what kind of people did this?
The three stood there in shock, staring blankly at the corpses on the ground. The bodies were mangled and their deaths were extremely tragic. These four were the ones who had been killed by Lu Xiaoran with his bare hands that day.
Having seen Ma Zhibiao use his Flight Ability, they realized the identity of Ma Zhibiao as an Ability user. So, they drove a van, tailing Ma Zhibiao and Lu Xiaoran's vehicle, intending to force them out of the car and capture them with a Nylon Net.
After their two cars collided, the four managed to ensnare Ma Zhibiao with the Nylon Net. However, they didn't expect Lu Xiaoran's Ability to be so powerful; within just a few seconds, all four of them were killed by him.
Looking at the four corpses on the ground, fear spread across the faces of the members from Team Three.
I'll take a picture with my phone and show it to the Director.
One of them bent down and took out his phone, aiming to photograph the bodies on the ground.

A sudden gunshot startled all three of them. At that moment, Lu Xiaoran, Yang Yin, and Tang Mo were lying in ambush not far away, observing them.
Seeing these people approach, Yang Yin aimed at one person's head and fired.

The three turned on their heels and quickly hid behind their van. Two of them returned fire at Yang Yin while another pulled out his phone to call the Director.
Director, we found the four members from Team Two; they are all dead. There are several armed people lying in ambush near their bodies, and we are currently exchanging fire with them.
Upon hearing this, the Director urgently replied, You don't have many bullets left; don't waste time fighting them. Retreat quickly!
"Alright. Let's head back now."
The three of them stopped engaging with Yang Yin, quickly opened the car doors, and got in. They drove straight back to the Yiren Research Institute.
Upon their return, the Director recounted their encounter. He also showed the Director the photos of the corpses they had just taken.
Looking at the images of the deformed bodies, the Director stood there, his expression grave as he contemplated the situation. This was beyond what they at the Yiren Research Institute could handle. They needed to contact Zhou Pengfei immediately and have him investigate the entire incident.
"Okay, I understand. You don't need to worry about this; we'll take care of the investigation," Zhou Pengfei said as he hung up the phone with the Director. He promptly arranged for his subordinates to begin looking into the matter.
However, before any results from the investigation could be reported, Zhou Pengfei received a call from someone at the research institute early the next morning. The caller informed him that Yiren Research Institute had been attacked by a young man of unknown identity.
