The young man possessed a multitude of abilities, rendering the various weapons used by the research institute ineffective against him. It seemed that the entire facility was on the brink of being annihilated by him.
After hanging up the phone, Zhou Pengfei hurriedly called for someone to pull up the surveillance footage from Yi Research Institute. Through the video, he witnessed Lu Xiaoran kill the researchers in real-time. The sheer number of abilities Lu Xiaoran exhibited left Zhou Pengfei stunned.
After some contemplation, he decided to send people to use a Light Gun to destroy the entire building of the research institute. As days passed, food supplies in Haitong City homes dwindled significantly. The Ability users in Fog Mountain Sanctuary often returned empty-handed after a day of scavenging for resources.
After much deliberation, Lu Xiaoran decided not to allow these individuals to continue raiding but instead opted for self-sufficiency on the mountain. He replicated some farming machinery and had them cultivate a terraced field for growing crops.
The sanctuary relied on a previously established photovoltaic power system for electricity supply. Zhou Pengfei repeatedly sent people to the foot of Fog Mountain, attempting to breach Fog Mountain Sanctuary and capture Lu Xiaoran alive. However, despite several attempts, they only managed to kill a few of Lu Xiaoran's subordinates who served as cannon fodder, without even scratching Lu Xiaoran himself.

After uncovering the origins of the organization behind Zhou Pengfei, Lu Xiaoran replicated their high-tech weapons and the antidote for gas poisoning. With these resources, he further recruited soldiers and established Fog Mountain as his base, continuously expanding his influence.
Having replicated thousands of abilities, Lu Xiaoran became a force capable of devastating destruction at will, existing like a deity. He also attained immortality, achieving a state where both his body and soul were indestructible.
