In an instant, Chen Li pulled out all the elixirs and treasures from his storage bag, piling them up in front of him like a small mountain. The various colored pills emitted a strange glow, illuminating his tense little face.
He stared intently at the Heavenly Guardian Beast, which was happily nibbling on the Mystic Barrier. His gaze grew more determined. "Little Beasts, don’t you love to eat? Come, come, take a look at these treasures. Are they enough to fill your little gaps?" As he spoke, he picked up a dragon-eye-sized pill that exuded an enticing aroma and tossed it toward the Heavenly Guardian Beast.
The Heavenly Guardian Beast seemed to sense something; its big, watery eyes sparkled with excitement. It stopped nibbling and looked up at the pill that traced a graceful arc through the air.
With a youthful roar, the Heavenly Guardian Beast leaped into the air, its figure leaving a blur as it lunged for the pill. In that moment, its previously wobbly body transformed into one of agility and grace, akin to a nimble little cat, effortlessly catching the pill.
With a satisfying crunch, the Heavenly Guardian Beast chewed on the pill, seemingly delighted by its flavor. Its big, sparkling eyes were filled with desire as it gazed longingly at Chen Li, as if anticipating the arrival of another pill.
Seeing this, Chen Li felt a surge of joy in his heart. It seemed his guess was correct; although this little creature was formidable, it was still just a young beast. As long as he catered to its tastes, perhaps he could tame it after all.
Taking a deep breath to calm his excitement, he picked up another pill. This time, he chose one that radiated a fragrant green hue—the Clear Spirit Pill—a miraculous healing elixir known for its effectiveness in treating internal injuries.
"Little guy, this one tastes even better! Want to give it a try?" Chen Li said as he tossed the pill into the air.
The Heavenly Guardian Beast's eyes brightened even more. Without hesitation, it leaped again and swallowed the Clear Spirit Pill whole. This time, it didn’t roar but closed its eyes to savor the flavor, looking just like a connoisseur enjoying gourmet food.
Seeing this, Chen Li couldn't help but smile proudly. He continued to pull out various elixirs from his storage bag and tossed them toward the Heavenly Guardian Beast—Revitalizing Pills, Consolidation Pills, Cultivating Essence Pills—anything edible was thrown without hesitation.
The Heavenly Guardian Beast accepted everything eagerly, swallowing each pill without pause. Its small body began to visibly swell like an inflated balloon until it became round and plump.
Yet even so, it showed no signs of stopping; instead, it became even more excited. Its eyes sparkled with greed as if it could never be full.
Chen Li watched in astonishment; this little creature could eat far too much! Although he had plenty of pills in his storage bag, they wouldn’t last long at this rate!
Grinding his teeth together in determination, he decided it was time to bring out his trump card.
He pulled out a White Jade Bottle from his bosom, carefully uncorking it. Instantly, a refreshing fragrance wafted through the air, invigorating everyone nearby.
"This is the Golden Pill I have treasured for a long time, a sacred remedy for healing. Even if one is on the brink of death, it can pull them back from the gates of hell. Little one, you must cherish it!" Chen Li said as he tossed the White Jade Bottle towards the Heavenly Guardian Beast.
The Heavenly Guardian Beast sniffed the air, seemingly catching a whiff of something delicious. It suddenly opened its eyes wide, fixating on the White Jade Bottle with an intense glimmer of desire.
With a deafening roar, it lunged like a bolt of lightning toward the White Jade Bottle. The Heavenly Guardian Beast seemed completely unconcerned that the elixir was still contained within the bottle. It opened its mouth again.
As its small mouth opened and closed, an invisible force pulled both the elixir and the bottle into its maw. In the next moment, both vanished into the belly of the Heavenly Guardian Beast.
It was like an insatiable bottomless pit; after a slight burp, it looked expectantly at Chen Li.
"Little thing, if you want to eat, don’t interfere with my Divine Soul blood essence!"
The Heavenly Guardian Beast blinked its big watery eyes innocently at Chen Li, as if trying to understand his words.
Seeing such a naive and adorable Heavenly Guardian Beast, Chen Li silently lamented in his heart—did this Ancestor really think of himself as a free cafeteria? He wasn’t sure how effective this method would be, but having his drop of blood essence continuously rejected was starting to bother him.
As he looked at the impenetrable defense of the Heavenly Guardian Beast, he began to feel a sense of retreat rising within him. Just at that moment, golden light flickered around the Heavenly Guardian Beast, and he noticed that his drop of Divine Soul blood essence was slowly being drawn toward its round forehead!

The Heavenly Guardian Beast seemed to sense Chen Li's unease. It paused its actions, lifted its head, and looked at him with its big, watery eyes, filled with innocence and charm. It even extended its tiny pink tongue and gently licked Chen Li's palm, letting out a soft cooing sound: "Nya."
That sound seemed to comfort Chen Li, almost like a playful gesture. The intimate action left him in shock. He had never seen such a spirited magical beast before, let alone one that was guiding his Divine Soul essence into its divine sea!
