"Not used to it?" The man nodded, his expression softening slightly. "Of course, you probably haven't experienced this kind of thing before. Come here, I'll teach you!"
Tang Zhi swallowed hard again.
However, the man lost his patience. He swiftly threw out a strand of golden thread that wrapped around Tang Zhi's waist, pulling him close.
Tang Zhi stumbled and fell onto the man, his hand accidentally brushing against a sensitive part of the man's body.
Startled, he quickly retracted his hand, but the man pressed it down firmly, giving it a playful squeeze.
"Little darling, so direct?" The man's lips brushed against Tang Zhi's ear, sounding like a kiss or a whisper.
"I don't—"
Tang Zhi felt a wave of goosebumps rise all over him. He was a straight man through and through, attracted to women, not men.
The man had no intention of letting him go. His actions became even bolder as his hand slid down Tang Zhi's back.
Just as the man's hand was about to reach his underwear, Tang Zhi couldn't take it anymore. He forcefully shoved the man away. "Gross! Let go of me!"
Caught off guard, the man was pushed back.
Seeing the unmistakable disgust and anger on Tang Zhi's face, the man's demeanor shifted completely. His expression darkened, and he snapped, "I was being gentle with you; do you think that makes me nice?"
Tang Zhi remained silent, standing at a distance.
"You ungrateful
The man was unrestrained in his appetites, yet he was sensitive to others calling him fastidious or labeling him a pervert, which ignited a fire within him. He stepped forward and grabbed the other man's neck, growling, "I’m a pervert; I have no preferences when it comes to men or women. You must be living in an ivory tower, completely unaware of what true perversion really is!"
With that, he tossed Tang Zhi onto the bed and bound him with golden threads, stretching him out in a star shape.
Meanwhile, Lin Yao and Su Rui were busy modifying a machine for planetary surface transformation.
"Do you know about star beasts?" Lin Yao asked.
"Of course," Su Rui nodded.
"I need you to modify this device to emit star beast wave frequencies."
"Isn’t that too dangerous? If we accidentally attract a star beast, we might end up as its next meal!" Su Rui exclaimed.
Lin Yao shot him an exasperated glance. "I just want you to make it emit a couple of sounds to scare off that buyer. We can turn it off immediately; as long as there are no star beasts nearby, we’ll be fine."
"Alright, I understand."
True to his self-proclaimed title as a mechanical genius, Su Rui took out his tools and began tinkering with the device. After a while, he successfully created a small machine.
"Done." Su Rui placed the small device in front of Lin Yao.
"What do you want me to do with it? We need to activate it right away," she urged.
Su Rui looked incredulous. "Aren't you going to test it first?"
"In such a critical moment? What’s the point of testing? By the time we finish testing, Tang Zhi will have already been devoured!"
That was indeed a valid point.
With a resigned sigh, Su Rui pressed the machine's switch and activated it.
A long, resonating howl echoed across the entire planet, startling both the buyer and his escort team.
"Is that the sound of a star beast? Are they coming?" one of them asked nervously.
The sound was so close; it seemed to be heading this way.
"How could star beasts come here?"
Just one sound sent this group into a minor panic.
The attendants quickly stepped forward to maintain order for their esteemed guest.
But then came another long howl.
This time, even the man in the room was startled.
He abruptly opened the door and instructed his attendant, "Take someone out to check if the Star Beast has really arrived."
"Yes, Young Master!" The attendant responsible for selecting personnel immediately took his leave.
Once the attendant left, the man did not return to his previous room; instead, he went to another room to wait for the attendant's report.
After a few minutes, the attendant returned with a report: "Young Master, there are no signs of the Star Beast."
The man nodded and instructed his guards to continue monitoring the situation before preparing to go back.
Suddenly, a long, mournful cry echoed through the air.
The man turned to look at the attendant. "Did you not say there was no sight of the Star Beast? Why is there still a beast's cry?"
The attendant was at a loss for words and quickly replied, "Young Master, let me check again more thoroughly."
This time, the attendant took even longer, causing the man to grow impatient as he frequently glanced toward the room where he had previously waited.
After quite some time, the attendant finally returned.
"Young Master, we have searched thoroughly and found no trace of the Star Beast." The attendant appeared somewhat disheveled from his extensive search but spoke with confidence.
"No trace of the Star Beast yet there is still a beast's cry. Could it be that someone is mimicking the Star Beast's call?" one of the guards suggested.
The attendant scolded him sharply, "Who would dare mimic a Star Beast's call? Are they tired of living?"
"Alright. Since we cannot find any trace of the Star Beast, let's all return and rest. No more playing tonight; stay vigilant," the man commanded before quickly returning to his previous room.
However, upon entering, he discovered that the young boy was already missing.
At this point, he understood everything clearly. The sound of the Star Beast must have been a diversion created by someone to draw him out so they could rescue their companion.
Furious, he stormed out of the room and shouted at his guards, "Go find them! You must capture those two pests!"
Meanwhile, Lin Yao had taken the severely injured Tang Zhi and hidden him in a cave.
"Do you have any medicine?" Lin Yao asked anxiously. Due to her financial constraints, she hadn't purchased any high-quality medicines available on the market but had only brought along some low-level potions she had concocted herself.
Given Tang Zhi's severe injuries, those low-level potions were ineffective.
Moreover, there was another reason: some of Tang Zhi's injuries were in sensitive areas, and she didn't dare ask too deeply about his condition, leaving her feeling somewhat helpless.
Seeing her awkward demeanor, Su Rui couldn't stand it any longer. He pulled her aside and stepped forward to grasp Tang Zhi's chin firmly before forcing a vial of medicine into his mouth.
