Originally, I wanted to see the research progress of Area Three on the list, but instead, they cast a wide net, leaving no room for anyone to slip through. Lei Dao held the list with a grim expression; Captain Yao was being too indiscriminate, wanting everything.
There was nothing I could do. After all, I had arrived later than several big shots, and with so many subordinates, it was natural that we were lacking in everything. Yao Zhengqi showed no signs of being mocked; his face remained calm.

Max said nothing.
Yao Zhengqi continued, "Just because Area Three can develop technology for mechs to enter space doesn't mean our starship technology has also improved. The ability of mechs and starships to break free from the gravity of Black Porcelain Star is two entirely different concepts; the technical difficulties are completely different. The three leaders listened in silence and merely nodded without expressing further opinions.

Max didn’t get angry; after giving him a sidelong glance, he replied nonchalantly, "I'm trading with Captain Yao, not with you, Lei. Why are you so anxious?"
"You!" Lei Dao was furious.
After the two finished their argument, Yao Zhengqi slowly said, "That’s fine, but how many do you have over there, Max? What level are those space suits?"
"I still have some level one suits."
In the Star Alliance, the levels of protective suits ranged from level one to level five, with level one being the lowest and level five the highest. Level one suits were merely basic space suits and were somewhat inadequate for navigating the Chaos Nebula.
However, Lin Yao mentioned she had the technology to modify protective suits; even if they were lower level, we could manage to make do with them.
"The level of those suits is a bit low," Max said. "For that batch of suits, I can exchange them for two sets of anti-gravity equipment for you."
"One suit for one set? That’s quite a disparity," Max protested.
"Given their low level and that they're forty years old, my anti-gravity equipment is brand new. Offering you two sets is already generous on my part. If you're unwilling, we can forget about it!"
Max certainly knew that the values didn’t quite match up; saying so much was merely an attempt to negotiate further.
Now that things had reached this point and realizing there was no way to negotiate more effectively, he could only nod in reluctant agreement.
Once the two completed their trade negotiations, Lei Dao eagerly asked, "Captain Yao, do you need any escort ships?"
In the realm of interstellar warfare, the standard configuration often sees a battleship accompanied by several escort ships, depending on the military specifications. Lei Dao, hailing from a mid-tier alliance within the Star Alliance, possessed an escort ship that was undoubtedly superior to those of Yunmeng Star.
If they were outside, Yao Zhengqi would have jumped at the chance to make a trade. However, they were currently on Heici Star, where even the energy supply for their starships was insufficient, let alone for maintaining escort vessels.
"Boss Lei, are you joking? Who has the energy to support an escort ship these days?" Yao Zhengqi replied, his tone incredulous.
"That’s an escort ship! Are you sure you don’t want it, Captain Yao?" Lei Dao pressed on, not ready to give up.
Once upon a time, escort ships represented the pinnacle of technology in the Star Alliance.
Yao Zhengqi shook his head firmly. "No, I don’t want it."
He understood better than anyone that as long as they remained trapped on Heici Star, any discussions about ships were meaningless.
"Then I’ll have to take this list back and consult our district’s research team to see if they have any technology we can trade," Lei Dao said. "If Boss Lei has any of the technologies on the list, feel free to bring them over; we’re always ready."
Once their negotiations concluded, Koqi interjected, "Since you’re done talking, you can leave now."
"What do you mean by that, Koqi?" Max shouted in dissatisfaction.
"I mean no offense. However, I need to speak with Captain Yao privately regarding some matters," Koqi replied bluntly. His request was reasonable and left no room for argument.
Despite their irritation, Max and Lei Dao had no choice but to leave in frustration.
Yao Zhengqi instructed Tang Zhengsu to coordinate with Max regarding their discussions while he remained behind to continue his conversation with Koqi.
To his surprise, Koqi’s next statement left Yao Zhengqi astonished. "I have a satellite-class battleship," Koqi revealed.
"How is that possible?"
Star Alliance starships were classified into three tiers: primary, intermediate, and advanced. The technology of Yunmeng Star was even lower than the primary tier.
"Yes, there are indeed higher-tier ships outside the Star Alliance," Koqi confirmed.
Their starships were classified into three levels: Satellite Class, Planet Class, and Star Class. The Star Alliance later developed a super advanced starship that was somewhat close to the Satellite Class. Of course, these levels were only heard of by Yao Zhengqi and his companions; they had never seen them in person. As for whether Koqi had seen them, he wasn't sure. However, since Koqi claimed to possess a Satellite Class ship, he must have some knowledge about it.
This Satellite Class starship, if it could be called mine, actually belonged to the First District. It was left behind by previous occupants and was in a severely damaged state. However, I had landed alone on Black Porcelain Star and didn't trust the researchers from the First District too much, so I hadn't let them study it. I have my own methods. I only ask you this: do you want to cooperate? If you're willing to work together, you can take whatever you want from the First District! If you need anything from other districts, I can help you seize it, as long as you can take me with you!
To be honest, having such a low demand and high willingness to cooperate made Yao Zhengqi feel incredibly tempted. However, he didn't dare to agree easily before he completely trusted Koqi.
This matter was significant; could Captain Koqi allow me a couple of days to think it over?
