"Now I see," Master Hu said, enlightened. "I've heard that although blind people can't see, their ears or noses are often stronger than those of normal people. I didn't expect it to be true!"
"What about your ears?" he asked curiously after thinking about how Wang Jiefang's nose had become more sensitive.
Wang Jiefang nodded and said, "That's right. My hearing is clearer and extends further than before!"
The crowd looked at Wang Jiefang with mixed feelings of envy and admiration. If they felt envy, it was because he couldn't see; if they felt admiration, it was because even though he couldn't see, he could still sense everything around him—even small puddles in front of him! His nose was more useful than theirs, and his ears worked better too.
"Alright, here are your marriage certificates. From now on, you are legally married!"
"Thank you, Aunt Wang."
"You're welcome! By the way, since you've just gotten married, there's no need to rush back to work. I'll give you a week off—consider it your honeymoon leave!"

The women in the courtyard were still chatting when they saw Wang Jiefang returning. Instantly, they fell silent, watching him with either disdain or schadenfreude.
"Where did that blind man go? Why is he back so soon?"
"I saw that blind man's partner holding what looks like a marriage certificate!"
"Oh dear! Now that you mention it, I remember! That must be a marriage certificate! My son received one just like that when he got married!"
"So that blind man really got married to that girl? Is he planning a banquet?" This was asked by Third Aunt Ma.
