Song Feiwan struggled slightly and said to Xiao Yu, "I don't want you to hold me."
"Be honest!" Xiao Yu scolded her, and she stopped moving, tears streaming down her face even more fiercely.

Dongzhi had no idea what had transpired between the two of them but sensed that the princess was in grave danger. The source of this danger was the man beside her.
After hesitating for a moment, Dongzhi suddenly knelt before them with a thud. "Your Highness, I dare to speak; I have something to report."
Song Feiwan lifted her eyelids: "Dongzhi?"
Xiao Yu said, "Speak."
"The poison in the princess's body has already been administered over ten times!"
Xiao Yu was momentarily stunned and looked at Song Feiwan with a complex expression.
The latter struggled to raise her hand, trying to stop Dongzhi, but Xiao Yu had already grasped her wrist.
Dongzhi's eyes turned red as she said, "Your Highness, I know you don't want to worry the prince, but he cares for you just as much as I do! How can you bear such a heavy burden alone?"
Xiao Yu tightened her embrace and urged, "Dongzhi, go on."
Wiping away her tears, Dongzhi shared what she knew. The effort the princess had put in could only suppress the poison. To find the antidote, she had investigated who had poisoned her. This time, it was the Song residence that the princess had known would be involved in her impending poisoning; it was a trap she had set.
Those who posed a threat last night had already been detained and subjected to harsh interrogations. Finally, one of the older maids revealed a clue!
Xiao Yu asked, "What clue?"
Song Feiwan also looked over with curiosity.

Xiao Yu lowered her gaze and met Song Feiwan's cold eyes, feeling a sense of regret wash over her.
