The others joined in, mocking Jiang Chen without restraint. It was understandable; after all, what Jiang Chen said was unimaginable for them, ordinary people. They felt justified in thinking that Jiang Chen was just bragging.
Jiang Chen ignored their comments and turned to Liu Zhi and Liang Hong. "Since you want to team up, just follow me once we get to the island. With me around, you don't need to worry; think of this as a vacation."
Upon hearing Jiang Chen's words, Liu Zhi and Liang Hong were taken aback but felt more surprised than anything else. Although they didn't believe that Jiang Chen could win the game alone, having a guy on their team made them feel somewhat reassured.
"Kid, I hope you can stay this calm when the game starts," sneered a few people nearby.
The journey continued in silence. On the morning of the seventh day, the cruise ship docked at a large island covered in lush tropical trees.
During these days, Jiang Chen had enjoyed a leisurely time on the cruise ship, cultivating his skills. The Spiritual Energy in the ocean was far denser than on land. Once he entered his cultivation state, seven days felt like mere moments; even seven years would pass in the blink of an eye.
In contrast to Jiang Chen's calm demeanor, the others were anything but relaxed.
On the deck, everyone gathered with heavy expressions. Liu Zhi and Liang Hong stood closely beside Jiang Chen, looking anxious. However, seeing Jiang Chen so at ease helped them relax just a little.
"Everyone, please disembark," said the foreign old man.
With uneasy hearts, they formed a line and slowly made their way off the ship. Jiang Chen followed among the crowd, his gaze surveying the island with evident interest.
Jiang Chen planned to establish a cultivation Sect on Earth eventually. The location of the Sect was crucial, and this island seemed quite suitable—situated in the Pacific Ocean. If he built his Sect here, he could create a powerful Gathering Spirit Formation to harness the Spiritual Energy from miles around to nourish it.
However, establishing a Sect at sea felt somewhat isolated, and this location was quite far from Huaxia.
After some thought, he decided to set aside that idea for now. The establishment of a Sect would have to wait until the Mountain and Sea Secret Realm opened and Earth's Spiritual Energy stabilized; it was too early to make plans now.
Over a hundred people disembarked from the cruise ship and stood at the island's dock, awaiting further instructions.
"Follow me," said the foreign old man as he led the way.
Jiang Chen and his companions obediently followed him. Aside from the sounds of footsteps on the ground, no one dared to speak.
The old man guided them through the woods into the depths of the island. The forest here resembled a primeval jungle with towering trees and intertwining vines. Fortunately, there was an asphalt road several meters wide running through it.
Walking along this path gave a sense of tranquility and seclusion that Jiang Chen found quite enjoyable.
After walking for about fifteen minutes, I finally saw an ancient castle at the end of the asphalt road. The castle was covered in dark green vines, clearly showing its age. Even in broad daylight, it gave off an eerie feeling.
