The two of them hesitated no longer and quickly moved toward the source of the light. As they drew closer, the point of light grew brighter, ultimately revealing a strange sight. It was not an ordinary light but an ancient stone tablet, covered in mysterious symbols and patterns that emitted a soft and warm glow.
"What is this?" Aiden gently touched the surface of the tablet, feeling a warm energy flow from his fingertips, as if some hidden force was in motion.
Elf approached the tablet as well, carefully examining the peculiar symbols. "These symbols... they appear to be an ancient language, possibly some sort of guidance." It paused for a moment. "This tablet should be some kind of ancient portal or a passage to other worlds."
Aiden's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Can we use it to leave this place?"
Elf furrowed its brow and shook its head. "There are no clear instructions on this tablet, just these symbols that seem like a puzzle. We must solve it to know how to proceed."
Taking a deep breath, Aiden felt exhausted but found a glimmer of hope in front of him. He no longer hesitated and began to closely observe the symbols, hoping to uncover some clues.
"These symbols..." Aiden murmured to himself. "They... seem to follow some kind of pattern."
Elf crouched down, meticulously studying the patterns on the tablet, its claws gently touching each symbol. "If I'm not mistaken, these symbols resemble an ancient code. They might represent certain elements or different forces."
"How do we solve it?" Aiden asked anxiously. "What clues do we need?"
Elf pondered for a moment before its eyes lit up suddenly. "I've got it!" It pointed to the center of the tablet. "This symbol looks like a sun pattern; it has some connection with the surrounding symbols. Perhaps we need to press it in the right position to activate this portal."
Aiden nodded, a flame of hope igniting within him. He placed his palm on the center of the sun pattern and pressed down gently. Instantly, a powerful force surged from the tablet, causing the air around them to tremble as the tablet emitted blinding light.
"Get ready!" Elf shouted. "This might be our only chance!"
As the light from the stone tablet grew ever stronger, Aiven and Elf were pulled into its center by a powerful force. Their bodies seemed to twist in the air, and the entire world began to lose balance, becoming blurred and indistinct. Aiven felt as if he were being swallowed into an endless abyss, a deep, resonant voice echoing in his ears.
"You have finally arrived..."
Aiven's heart raced as he suddenly realized that it was the voice of the Dark Wing. It seemed not to have completely vanished but lay in wait within the energy of the stone tablet, ready to drag them into an even more perilous abyss.
"We can't stop!" Aiven shouted, struggling desperately to break free from that force. "Elf, run!"
Elf did not respond but stayed closely behind Aiven, fighting hard to remain conscious. It understood that only by escaping this illusion could they truly break free from the Dark Wing's control. With all their strength, Aiven and Elf pressed forward through the dark abyss until a burst of light erupted, propelling them toward an unknown exit.
After a dizzying moment, Aiven opened his eyes to find himself and Elf standing in a completely new place.
Gone were the darkness and oppressive atmosphere; the surroundings were clear and real. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting patterns on the ground, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of earth, as if they had returned to a warm world.
Aiven took a deep breath, feeling a long-lost sense of comfort wash over him. "Have we... finally made it out?"
