Zheng Mengni couldn't remember where her home was. 0

Ye Yao Yao clung to her hand, pleading for her to stay, vowing that she would take good care of this dear friend. Ye Yao Yao was the most cherished little princess in her family, and no one could refuse her requests. 0

After all, she was just a little girl, and if she got lost, her family would surely be worried. Thus, the Ye Family urgently began investigating her identity. Strangely enough, there was no record of her even having a household registration. It was as if she had appeared out of thin air. 0

Upon learning this, Ye Yao Yao was convinced that Zheng Mengni was a gift sent to her by heaven, and she couldn't have been happier. Zheng Mengni, feeling somewhat confused, ended up staying with the Ye Family. However, the family members were still uneasy and only agreed to take care of her temporarily until they could find her family. They did not give up on helping her search for her relatives. 0

Ye Bing, who was Ye Yao Yao's father’s brother, had the closest relationship with him. After Ye Yao Yao's father passed away early, Ye Bing took on the responsibility of looking after his little niece. In the Ye Family, aside from Ye Yao Yao, Ye Bing was the person Zheng Mengni saw the most. 0

This handsome uncle had a particularly sunny smile and an approachable demeanor that made him easy to get along with. Whenever Zheng Mengni encountered difficult homework questions, Ye Bing would casually stop by and explain a few things to her. His voice was pleasant to listen to, and gradually, Zheng Mengni became more willing to talk to him. 0

Generally speaking, as long as Ye Bing wasn't busy, he would personally take the two children to school. He was generous with his spending money; even if he divided it into two portions for them, it never decreased. 0

However, Zheng Mengni felt hesitant to accept this money. Even when it was pushed into her hands, she didn't dare use it freely. Instead, she found a small jar to save all the money Ye Bing gave her. But the jar was too small and quickly filled up. 0

Zheng Mengni felt a bit troubled. She feared that if Ye Bing found out, he might misunderstand and think she was ungrateful. But that wasn't the case at all; in her mind, she believed that money given by parents should not be accepted casually. If there truly came a time when she had to accept it, she promised herself that when she grew up, she would repay him properly. 0

One morning, the nanny responsible for taking care of Ye Yao Yao called in sick. She cried out loudly, refusing anyone else to help her with her hair. 0

Ye Bing set down the documents in his hands and picked up a bag of shiny hairpins to braid his little niece's hair. Zheng Mengni, holding a comb, watched eagerly from the side, her big, dark eyes filled with envy. 0

Where was her family? 0

Ye Bing worked quickly, creating beautiful braids for Ye Yao Yao. After finishing, he moved in front of Zheng Mengni and opened his hands, signaling her to pass him the comb. 0

"Let me help you," he said. 0

Zheng Mengni tilted her little head and turned away shyly. "I can do it myself." 0

Ye Bing smiled. "You and Yao Yao are good friends. Don’t good friends like to wear matching clothes, have the same hairstyles, and use the same accessories to show how close they are?" 0

Ye Yao Yao nodded vigorously, looking pitiful as she pleaded, "Yes, yes! I want us to look the same! And Uncle's braids are super pretty; he will definitely make Ni Ni even cuter!" 0

Zheng Mengni raised her hands, holding the comb out to Ye Bing, her tender face flushing slightly. She softly said, "Uncle, I also want to be cute." 0

Ye Bing couldn't help but smile. "Okay. It would be even cuter if you had a brother." 0

The bodyguard waiting at the door watched this warm scene in disbelief. He was used to seeing the young master act aloof; seeing him so gentle was quite awkward. 0

The bodyguard rubbed the stubble on his neck, feeling a chill run down his spine. 0

Once the two little girls were all dressed up, Ye Yao Yao grabbed Zheng Mengni's hand and started walking out. As they walked, she turned back and shouted to Ye Bing, "Uncle! After school today, I want to eat the little meatballs you made! You have to remember! Ni Ni says she really wants some too!" 0

Ye Bing waved back. "Come home early after school; I’ll make them for you both." 0

Zheng Mengni quietly turned her head to stare at Ye Bing. 0

His features were delicate and radiant, exuding youthful energy in every gesture. 0

What a kind uncle he is, she thought silently. 0

After the two little girls had completely walked away, the bodyguard stepped forward to report to Ye Bing. "We found out who leaked the information. How should we handle it?" 0

Ye Bing's gentle smile vanished in an instant. "I shouldn't have to teach you that." 0

The bodyguard felt a shiver run down his spine and nodded slightly. "Understood." 0

He had just taken a couple of steps when he remembered something and asked, "But tonight at Meiju, do you need me to arrange for someone to make those little meatballs?" 0

Ye Bing clicked his tongue. "You’re trying to fool children." 0

She said she wanted to eat meatballs, so it doesn't matter who makes them. 0
Ye Bing replied, "The young lady specifically asked for me, and I agreed. Backing out now would be inappropriate." 0
The bodyguard hesitated and asked, "What about Fang?" 0
Ye Bing remained calm and said, "I'll handle Meiju's situation first and aim to return on time without delaying either side." 0
