I stepped into the magic circle, and a wave of intense dizziness washed over me. The surroundings began to twist and warp, like falling into a kaleidoscope of colors.
When I opened my eyes again, I found myself in a strange space.
There were no walls, no ceiling—only an endless expanse of starry sky.
Stars twinkled like the breath of the universe, mysterious and profound.
Sera let out a soft meow, signaling me to focus my mind.
I closed my eyes, cleared my thoughts, and began to meditate.
The Prophetic Eye activated, and I glimpsed fragments of the future flashing before me like scenes from a movie.
The city was engulfed in flames, skyscrapers collapsing with thunderous roars. People fled in all directions, their cries echoing like a chorus from hell.
My heart felt as if it were gripped tightly by an invisible hand, nearly suffocating me.
Amidst the raging fire, I saw a familiar figure.
Dix, the leader of the Dark Pact, stood atop the ruins with a cold smile on his face, as if admiring his own handiwork—a sight that sent chills down my spine.
I suddenly opened my eyes wide, trembling all over, drenched in cold sweat.
"I saw it... the city has been destroyed." My voice trembled, laced with despair. "Dix, he has obliterated everything."
Herman's expression darkened further, his brow furrowed. "It seems that the Dark Pact's plan is even more terrifying than we imagined."
Elisa stepped closer, gently taking my hand in hers. Her grip was warm and reassuring. "Su Wan, don't be afraid. We will stop them."
Sera meowed in agreement, as if echoing Elisa's words, offering me encouragement.
I took a deep breath, striving to calm myself. Fear wouldn't solve anything; I had to find a way to stop this.
"I need to know how they did it," I said, looking at Herman with determination. "What is their plan?"
Herman pondered for a moment. "The Dark Pact has mastered an ancient magic that can distort space. They plan to use this magic to transport the city's Energy Center to another dimension, effectively cutting off the entire city's energy supply."
"Space distortion?" I felt a wave of confusion wash over me. "Are there such places in the city?"
Herman nodded. "Yes, on the outskirts of the city, there are areas where space is distorted. These regions are extremely dangerous; even we wouldn't dare approach them lightly."
"But the Dark Pact has found a way to utilize these areas," Elisa added. "They plan to establish magical arrays in these regions to transport the Energy Center to another dimension."
"We must stop them," I said firmly. "I have to find their magical arrays before they succeed."
Sera jumped onto my shoulder again, gently patting my cheek with her paw as if to say, "I believe in you."
I closed my eyes and entered the prophetic state once more. This time, I had to find the location of their magic circle.
I saw a magic circle hidden on the outskirts of the city, flickering with an evil light. The surrounding space twisted and warped, resembling a gateway to hell, sending chills down my spine.
I suddenly opened my eyes. "I've found it. I know where their magic circle is."
A glimmer of hope flashed in Herman's eyes. "Good, Su Wan, lead the way. Let's go destroy it together."
At that moment, the vision returned, and this time, I saw myself.
