Hearing Scarface's words, Liu Ru Yan suddenly felt a wave of anxiety wash over her. Lan Ruo Yi was alert, watching the situation unfold before them, ready to flee at any moment. "Can we do this?" "Ugh, what a drama queen!" Qin Peng felt as if he had been enchanted by her words; he was completely disoriented and couldn’t find his bearings anymore. He increasingly believed that his earlier actions were incredibly wise, as if they were destined to be the right choice.

"Are we doing this or not? Take them both!" Scarface roared angrily like thunder striking from a clear sky. Watching their movements, Liu Ru Yan sprang into action like a nimble leopard, leaping up and delivering a kick directly to the bespectacled man's chest. At the same time, she swiftly grabbed Lan Ruo Yi's hand and ran backward.
Surrounded by everyone else, the bespectacled man watched as the two figures fled into the distance, his mouth twitching slightly as if mocking their audacity: "Chase them!"
"Run! They’re coming after us!" Liu Ru Yan urged Lan Ruo Yi as their feet moved frantically. The sounds behind them grew closer and closer, and Lan Ruo Yi felt her body starting to falter. Liu Ru Yan's hand was forced to release its grip as she watched in astonishment with her mouth agape at what unfolded before her. Liu Yuchuan held Lan Ruo Yi's limp body and began spinning around with her in his arms. Liu Ru Yan didn’t expect such a melodramatic moment would appear before her eyes; she momentarily failed to recognize who he was.
Liu Da had blocked Scarface and his crew along with Liu Er and others. Liu Yuchuan set Lan Ruo Yi down gently and said to Liu Da, "Take care of it."
Liu Ru Yan hadn’t processed what he meant by "take care of it" when she saw Liu Da and Liu Er pull out their phones to call the police. At that moment, her faith crumbled completely.
Lan Ruo Yi looked at Liu Yuchuan with admiration while Mo Daowan quietly stood beside Liu Ru Yan watching her!
"Hey, brother! Who are you?" Liu Ru Yan blinked rapidly, feeling puzzled; although he had saved her, his hand was still resting on Lan Ruo Yi's waist—that wouldn’t do!
