Liu Ru Yan lay in the hospital room, leisurely eating her meal and snacks.
Upon hearing the news, Liu Yuchuan glanced at her, who was enjoying her food: "Ahem, Xiao Yan, there's something I need to tell you."
Liu Ru Yan, attended to by Lan Ruo Yi, didn’t even look up. "If it’s something that will upset me, don’t say it." She held her phone in her hand, reading a message from Zhu Chenfu.

Liu Yuchuan also curiously leaned in for a glance before obediently sitting back down. The room fell quiet for a moment.
Liu Ru Yan observed that the woman in the photo wore clothes similar to those of Lan Ruo Yi.
Liu Xia Sui remarked, "You should know this woman."
Mommy asked, "What?"
Zhu Chenfu hadn’t expected to receive such news either.
Liu Ru Yan couldn’t help but ask curiously, "Are you two in a relationship?"

Oh no. This was Xie Yichang; he hadn’t anticipated such gossip.
"No way, absolutely impossible. She didn’t tell me," Lan Ruo Yi replied.
Liu Yuchuan remained silent, pondering why his grandfather had called him, as if he already knew something. Liu Ru Yan was about to ask more when Liu Yuchuan's phone rang. He looked at Liu Ru Yan, whose eyes were bright with curiosity, and answered the call, "Hello, Dad!"
Liu Ru Yan's eyes lit up, and she gestured frantically for him to put the call on speaker, but Liu Yuchuan shook his head. As he started to walk toward the door, Liu Ru Yan suddenly sat up in bed, disregarding the IV drip in her hand.
Lan Ruo Yi and Mo Daowan quickly moved toward Liu Ru Yan, while Liu Yuchuan stood there, momentarily stunned. "What are you doing?" he raised an eyebrow and asked.
Liu Ru Yan stepped forward and snatched his phone, switching it to speaker mode. "I saw your girlfriend! How could you let her have an abortion? How many has she had? You really are a scumbag!"
"Grandpa, don’t say that! You’re surprisingly trendy for knowing the term 'scumbag,'" Liu Ru Yan said, a bit choked up. Wow, she really went straight for the jugular!
Lan Ruo Yi and Mo Daowan held onto Liu Ru Yan's excited body, gently urging her to lie back down. At that moment, Liu Yuchuan interjected, "Dad, I really don’t have a girlfriend. If you don’t believe me, ask Xiao Yan."
Liu Xiangzhu didn’t expect Liu Yuchuan to say something like that. "You little rascal! Asking me to check with Xiao Yan? Are you trying to trick her again?"
Liu Xiangzhu suspected his son was deceiving Liu Ru Yan but softened his tone as he thought of her. "Are you with Xiao Yan? When are you coming back? Your grandmother and I miss her."
Lin Shu had initially been surprised by Liu Xiangzhu's reprimand of his son but suddenly perked up at the mention of Xiao Yan's name and leaned closer to the receiver.
Liu Yuchuan felt pain all over and thought to himself: Is it only the granddaughter who is truly related? What about me?
"Your beloved granddaughter is right here; let her talk to you," he said.
Liu Xiangzhu and Lin Shu exchanged excited glances; they cherished this granddaughter dearly since she was their first and her health wasn’t great.
Liu Yuchuan handed the phone to Liu Ru Yan. She hesitated to take it, feeling a bit socially anxious. But then a gentle voice came through the line: "Xiao Yan? Is that you?" It was Lin Shu’s voice, filled with excitement and anticipation.
"Grandma, I'm with Uncle," Liu Ru Yan helplessly gestured for Lan Ruo Yi to take the phone and put it to her ear.
"Xiao Yan, tell Grandpa whether your uncle has been lying to you again about not having a partner?" Liu Xiangzhu recalled this matter, trusting that his granddaughter wouldn't deceive him.
Liu Ru Yan was at a loss for how to respond, so she pretended to be clueless. "Huh? Uncle has a partner now?"
Liu Xiangzhu was also taken aback. "You didn't know?"
"I didn't! What have you heard? Let me know," Liu Ru Yan said, sounding genuinely curious.
Liu Xiangzhu felt that these unpleasant words shouldn't be shared with his sweet Nuan Nuan, but he couldn't resist Liu Ru Yan's request and briefly recounted what he knew. "You remember Ding Ye Ye, right? A couple of days ago, he came to me and said your uncle has a partner now.
