"Alright, I'll treat tonight. Should we let them know?"
"Go ahead, otherwise how will we explain it later?" Liu Ru Yan felt it was necessary to inform them; otherwise, there would be no way to account for their absence. They would definitely ask questions.
It was puzzling how two grown men could have so much to talk about.
Lan Ruo Yi was the first to message Mo Wan.
"Mo Ge, A Yan and I are going out for dinner tonight. You guys can handle yourselves."
Liu Xia Sui added, "Uncle, Yi Yi and I are going out for dinner tonight as well."
The two of them had the same decision in mind. Liu Yuchuan and Mo Wan were currently discussing their plans together when their phones chimed in unison.
They exchanged glances before lowering their heads again.
"Is that Lan Ruo Yi?" Liu Yuchuan asked casually as he put away his phone. Mo Wan chimed in, "Is it Liu Ru Yan?"
It was clear now.
"Let’s invite Tang Mu Xuan Lin and Lin Fengmian along with Xie Yichang. We need to find a solution to this situation." Since the two girls weren't going home, there was no need for them to rush; they could take their time sorting things out.
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking too," Liu Yuchuan agreed, and they both decided on the plan.
"What’s the situation that brought us here?" Xie Yichang strolled into the private room of the restaurant, observing the two seated inside with a puzzled expression. "Do they have anything in common to talk about?"
"Just sit down; we’ll discuss it later," Mo Wan said, prompting Xie Yichang to fall silent.
Sitting obediently while staring at his phone, his expression resembled that of a rebellious teenager, filled with defiance and dissatisfaction. Mo Wan had no intention of continuing to watch; he was at a loss for words regarding his younger brother. Liu Yuchuan, on the other hand, had no interest in meddling in others' family matters, but he felt compelled to get involved because it concerned Liu Ru Yan.
"Here they come," Liu Yuchuan remarked after a cup of tea, just as someone pushed the door open. Tang Mu Xuan and Lin Fengmian entered, immediately spotting the three people inside. Liu Yuchuan and Mo Wan were seated across from each other, engaged in conversation. Xie Yichang was lounging in his seat, legs crossed and resting on the armrest, holding his phone as if he were playing a game.
This scene did not faze either of the newcomers; instead, they were curious about why Xie Yichang was present. Mo Wan and Liu Yuchuan looked at them and invited them to take a seat as they prepared to serve the dishes.
"Mr. Liu, Mr. Mo, did you call us here for something?" Tang Mu Xuan asked politely.
Liu Yuchuan scoffed lightly, "Come on, we’re all friends here; no need for formalities."
Everyone present, except Lin Fengmian, appeared unfazed, as if they had already known what was going on. Lin Fengmian glanced around at the others and forced himself to close his mouth, which had opened in surprise. He quickly adopted an expression that suggested nothing unusual was happening, though his furtive glances revealed his curiosity about the unfolding drama.
"Uncle," Tang Mu Xuan said without hesitation; since no one seemed to mind, he felt free to speak casually.
Xie Yichang exchanged quick glances with Mo Wan, both expressing their surprise. In contrast, Lin Fengmian appeared less astute as he stood there dumbfounded. He hadn’t realized that Tang Mu Xuan and Mr. Liu shared such a connection. Mo Wan propped his chin on his hand and looked at the two with a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"I’m flattered; it’s my fortune to call Mr. Liu 'Uncle,'" Tang Mu Xuan replied graciously.
Hearing this, Liu Yuchuan raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment further. Tang Mu Xuan understood that although his family was impressive, they could not compare to the Liu Family. Just looking at the man before him—who appeared to be in his thirties and was still unmarried—was enough to illustrate that point. In reality, since starting his own business at a young age, he had become a legend in high society.
No one would believe that with such an outstanding older brother, the younger brother could also be so exceptional. For a time, the door of the Liu family was nearly trampled down by visitors.
Don’t get me wrong; it’s not that they were seeking to marry Liu Ru Yan, but rather inquiring about Liu Laoyezi’s methods of education. Despite their wealth, they were truly outdone by the Liu family in terms of education. Even the collateral branches of the family produced individuals who were more remarkable than others.

They were particularly affectionate. It was said that after giving birth to Liu Ru Yan, Chen Fu’s health had not been the same, and she had been focusing on recuperating ever since. The couple didn’t mind having a daughter; they raised Liu Ru Yan to be exceptionally talented.
Every time her father spoke about her, he would jokingly say he wished he could send her back and start over. “Don’t be so polite; I called you here because I have something to discuss.” Tang Mu Xuan turned his gaze toward Xie Yichang.
Xie Yichang looked back at him innocently: “What are you looking at me for?”
“Don’t mind him; he’s one of us,” Mo Wan said, indicating that there was no need for further explanation.
